I’m usually in the doom and gloom camp, but this team has a lot to like. The biggest things right now are mental and not physical issues. Things that get cleaned up in an 82 game season. I’m very optimistic about this group. Keep it close and force the front office to make a splash at the deadline and go on a run.
Under the mask they’re the blue jackets. A perennial loser franchise. Why bring the browns into it.

Remember: it’s not whether you win or lose its how you play the game. And how they play the game right now is choking when things get tight. It’s not just losing but how. That is a very bad precedent going forward and will linger into every game. Anytime it gets close they get tight. They need to kick this now not later.
The Blue Jackets are significantly better than the Browns right now. Any Browns fan would be ecstatic to be .500 right now.
For the record as much as I truly believe we always play with a handicap as long as The McConnell’s own the team and are operating with Priest, I do not want the Haslam’s to own this team.

I was a browns fan long before a CBJ fan. I became a CBJ fan because the browns are just trash. CBJ is no where near the ineptitude of the browns org. Not even comparable. There’s still a lot to like about the jackets. Not so much with the browns.
For those who are upset with the comparison.
Browns playoff appearance’s since 2000: 3
Browns playoff wins since 2000: 1
Jackets playoff appearance’s since 2000: 3
Jackets playoff (series) wins since 2000: 2*
*1 of those wins was during the Covid expanded playoff year where in a normal season the Jackets would NOT have made the playoffs.
I agree that the Jackets are far more competitive and the meme was more tongue in cheek than anything after a string of games where they should have / could have had points in all of them.
It’s frustrating that we have a team that we know is fully capable of closing these games out and we just can’t get out of our own way…
If we came home from this trip with 5/10 points no one would be upset. But there’s a very good chance we come back with 1/10, 2/10, or if we’re lucky 3/10 points and all of those outcomes knowing where we were in NYI, VAN, and EDM is just unacceptable.
