My favorite part of year 3 of this rebuild is when we look worse than year 1 and are about to ejecto-seato a QB.

7/8 games? Maybe If the cards play the worst defense in the league for 6 games
I think we fire coaches, trade Kyler, keep Brissett, use any and all draft assets to get a top QB in the draft with the plan that he plays after our bye week next year. Invest heavily in the o-line to protect the new QB we just spent probably 2-3 first rounders on.
Clean house completely New GM, new HC, ship off Kyler, Draft QB3 or QB4 in the draft, make sure being able to throw over the middle in one of their best attributes cuase that’s been missing here since Palmer retired.
God I hope not, I’m seeing people say they want Klint Kubiak or Wes Phillips as HC and I’m already looking at candidates. Then seeing teams like the Giants and Titans fire their coaches or coaches take away play calling from their coordinators while the Cardinals sit on their hands is malpractice. Then the typical AZ sports media won’t call out ownership or executives because they don’t wanna lose that connection, they’re bootlickers.
Patriots had the same 4-13 record as us 2 years ago btw.
We’ve been in a rebuild since 1948, at least we made it back to the NFL championship before losing to the Eagles
I was just looking at other teams subs because they started popping up on my feed, and it looks like basically every team in the league that doesn’t have Allen, Mahomes, Love, Herbert, Lamar, Baker, Dak, DJ (wow), Darnold (wowow) are all having meltdowns about their QBs lol
what i’m trying to say is, I guess the cardinals fan experience is not as unique as I thought it would be lol
I’m not a cards fan (bears) but I’d like to slither my way into this sub and propose that you guys trade a 5th round pick for Mac jones. He’s a better stopgap than brisett, and is a decent starter. I think Gannon can call a decent defense, I’d like to see if y’all could win like 9 games with competent Qb Play
Umm, I thought we decided to go back to bird watching. So we don’t have to feel pain anymore.
I think our secondary looked incredible week 1 and then idk wtf happened

Nah, they draft a new QB then fire Gannon and the new coach won’t like the QB just drafted.
The FO won’t give us the satisfaction of firing Drew… I believe his contract ends at the end of this season. Drew will just walk free after his crimes.
Why do we need to draft a qb? Look at guys like baker mayfield and Sam Darnold. Keep investing in the line and scout out a qb that is good but was drafted high young and to a shitty team. Was easier to trade for a qb with promise than lineman and some other positions. Also can run the ball easier this way
