Literally one of the dumbest calls I’ve seen in a while
I really, really wish that note was legit.
It was the right decision! Get six yards and the game ends, any other option and the Packers would have been guaranteed the chance to win the game outright. The difference between punting and going for it is maybe 25 yards, not counting the fairly high likelihood of a touchback. I don’t understand why this is controversial at all (I know why, it’s because they didn’t convert lol). I even said to a gc I’m in “If the eagles are smart they go for it here” before that play and nobody disagreed.
As one of Nick Sirianni’s foremost haters, if Dan Campbell did that nobody would’ve batted an eye. Can’t fault a coach for going for the jugular in a league full of cowards.
He probably called the 4th and 6. But KP also called a pretty bad game
Like 10% of the league is tested at any time. Of course people will get tested after having big games or making dumb decisions, that’s how random samples work.
