Great scrap, but an absolutely terrible job by the refs. They could’ve stepped in way sooner. He was on his knees for like 10 seconds getting punched repeatedly with no way to defend himself.

Freddy gets what he deserves. He basically one punch, knocked out the Swede Gustafsson last year on the Jets who’d never fought before.
Refs should’ve jumped in there much sooner. Waited for the player to tap his stick to kinda say come on guys, it’s over.
Then he scored on his own net to tie the game late in the third 🤷
Mathieu Olivier is probably the best fighter in the game right now but would need to see an other Deslauriers fight with him.
Only 7.9 years to go in that deal!!
