It is a rematch from a matchup that we saw just a couple nights ago and it ended up being one of the more exciting games of the season so far. A game where Miami won 140 to 138 to improve to 7-4 on the year, 8-3 against the number while the Cavs fell to 7-4 and are 3-8 against the number this season. And Cleveland was laying seven and a half points in that game. But now the line has flipped. Now, it is not often that you see, you know, games where we’ve seen it a few times in the last few seasons where, you know, the the backtoback that’s a home and home that’s in the same building, you know, so like, you know, Cleveland will play a backtoback both games in Miami or whatever instead of your traditional home and home where it’s one game in Miami, one game in Cleveland. But for me, what I’ve noticed is that a lot of times the there’s just not enough of a time difference. There’s not enough of a gap in time to make adjustments to expect a different result than what we saw in the first meeting. However, it’s not often that you see the line completely flip. And that’s because the um the Cleveland Cavaliers have announced a big, you know, deal with their injury report. Donovan Mitchell out with rest. Evan Mobley out with rest. Max Stru is still out. Jaylen Tyson still dealing with a concussion, you know, and Larry Nance Jr. is questionable and Darius Garland out with a toe injury. So, you’re missing Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, your three of your biggest pieces. And you’re taking on a Miami Heat team that’s down bam out of bio, Tyler Herro, you know, and all that, but they were able to get by with you. The likes of DaVon Mitchell, Kell Wear had a, you know, 14 and 20 game for his double double, you know, it was it was a big game for the Miami Heat. And the Miami Heat, I think, right now are used to playing without those guys, without your B metabio, your Tyler Herro. And I think that the Miami Heat are just in a decent spot here. You know, they like to push the pace. And as much as I like what the Cleveland Cavaliers have at the best of times, the fact of the matter is is that the Cleveland Cavaliers have a hard time keeping up when you’re missing your star, your three star pieces. And this is a new look Miami Heat team that has changed up their philosophy to now playing a faster pace than we’re used to seeing from them. It used to be more about lowscoring defensive style games, you know, lowerc scoring games and the Miami Heat would kind of grind out, but now it’s it’s go go go. And I just don’t think that a short-handed Cavaliers team is going to be able to hang with the Miami Heat team at that pace. So, I’m going to roll with the Heat here.
