After watching the Steelers/Chargers game on Sunday night, I remember what an awesome coach the Steelers had when Mike Munchak was the offensive line coach.

Mike Munchak turned the offensive line into an elite unit in a short period of time. He helped Pouncey become one of the best centers in the modern NFL. He developed high draft picks into annual All-Pro selections like David DeCastro. Other offensive linemen who became Pro Bowlers under Munchak's tutelage include Alejandro Villanueva who was undrafted.

Could you imagine what Munch could teach the current players on the offensive line? The Steelers desperately need to hire another coach like this ASAP!

  1. Pat Meyer is not a good OL coach.

But most of the OL has been playing fairly well and it’s primarily one guy who hasn’t developed. Players actually have to want/work to improve, too.
