That 4th quarter looked really good with both of them..
Mitch is doinng a good job of mix and matching wemby and kornet.
Wemby and kornet need to be on the floor together more often!
With Kornet back we really should consistently be playing good defense. There shouldn’t be really any time in the game one of them isn’t on the floor
The thing is the “defense with wemby off the floor” and “defense with out kornet and wemby” are pretty much the same thing lmao.
We’ve only had Kornet for 3 games, and he is the defensive big man for the 2nd unit. With out him we were trotting out a 33 year old 4th stringer to play the back up big minutes, and when Jeremy came back, an undersized 5. So it makes sense that the defense suffered horrendously with out them.
I don’t really care about how we do without both on the court as trading away all ventures for a team would tank their defense, but that 90.9 with both in is bonkers.
Fantastic stats that really reflect what we have been seeing so far… Massive hole at the post when they both are out.. unc biyombo or sochan don’t seem to be able to cover but that’s not a huge surprise
This is a very small sample size but it’s great regardless
This confirm what most of us already knew/suspected: We need either Wemby or Kornet on the court at all time since we completely lack rim protection without them.
