[Hogg] For the second time in his first two seasons as the Brewers manager, Pat Murphy wins NL Manager of the Year. He’s only the third back-to-back winner of the award since the BBWAA began awarding it in 1983, joining Bobby Cox and Kevin Cash.

  1. The irony of Counsell always being the bridesmaid, then leaving, and Murph winning it back to back is just *chefs kiss*

  2. Well deserved. Think it was a more impressive year from him than 2024. Not just the record, but when you consider how bad we looked in the first couple of months. A lesser manager would have lost the team in May.

I think Murph has some issues around bullpen use, but his man management seems absolutely unparalleled.
