NHL Highlights | Jets vs. Canucks – November 11, 2025

Yeah. Yeah. That’s when you got vested in the pension plan. That’s all everybody really really kept track of. Times have changed and these guys are well beyond 400 as we get underway. Jets controlling in the Vancouver zone. All on the perimeter for the moment. And now Herona breaks the cycle. Gets the puck to Hughes who’s under pressure and loses to me. Centering pass comes all the way across. Morrisy to the crease. Tipped in. Chase was there, but I think it might have gone off her and the Jets 457 in have a one- nothing lead. Puck gets turned over as Heronic passes it to Hughes. He miscues it. The two of them miss and as this puck deflects off of Perfetti, it goes all the way across to Morrisy. I can’t tell who it hit. I I think it hits Jonathan Taves here. back behind Demco as we’ll get maybe a better look at it here now off the foot of of Taves. Taves back out for this face off to the right of Thatcher Demco and he wins it. Bit of a weird drop there, but they allow it to continue. Morsy centers Demco a marvelous save as he was able to rub Cole Perfetti Lucas Rel. Now Sherwood had to go off his skateboard for checked by Sherwood who was only credited with one hit the other night. You don’t see that very often. Here’s Kefir Sherwood down Quinn. Sherwood scores. Hughes picks his way through the zone and now he’s going to take the return pass. And you see as he goes back behind the net, Shen has turned his back as he’s looking at Hughes. Nobody picks up Kefir Sherwood. How long does this not become a heater before it’s just something completely different? Seven goals in his last nine games. Kane with a blast and a great pad save by Connor Hel back. Nobody home and the puck is all the way down into the Vancouver zone. You see where Winnipeg had Patterson on his backhand and they pressured some up high and down below. There’s you run out of room in a hurry. So what that’s telling you is that puck’s got to be moved quick. Kroski shoots. He scores. Another power play goal for Jake De Brrisk. And the Conucks are on top. Everybody, we mentioned in the open, it seems like a big breakout is coming for Quinn Hughes. Now he’s got two points in this first period for Brust. It is November as Murf said in the open. He rips this one short side past Hellabuk. Doesn’t score very much from out here. Man, that’s a perfect delivery. A perfect shot. And he’ll have a few more. I think Tony’s done here. Sherwood stopped. That one set up by Tom Vander. I’m sure man, Valander started this play back behind his net, made a nice separation of the puck, got up into the rush, and Connor brings the puck ahead. Takes on the defense and lets go with a bit of a sneaky shot mid stride that just missed the net. Shley pass picked off. Good read there by Marcus Patterson. Gets the puck to Sherwood. Clearing attempt hit his teammate Meyers. Now a shot this score. Conucks will not be happy with that one. A clean attempt to clear the zone. Jets intercept and Morrisy’s tied it up at two. Struggle on the penalty kill or on a special teams. You you make a mistake and it ends up burning you. This is a a clear that has to get out of the zone. Sherwood’s shot hits Meyers in the foot. This shot here from Morrisy. I think it was off Sherwood. Hughes has got a couple assists and we’re tied at two. Morrisy hadn’t scored head-to-head versus the Canucks since 2017. Now here’s another chance and it’s in. Neater Rider had that one deflect in and the Jets have scored two goals in 15 seconds to take a 3-2 lead. Patterson goes to eliminate Ayafallow and he doesn’t get body nor puck and I follow in his 600th game is able to slither this puck across to Lowry. Man, this is like the first goal. It’s off a foot in front of the net. This time it’s Nether Riders and it deflects by Demco as with the earlier one off his right shoulder. Ardi able to clear the zone. A dozen seconds to go in the period. Here’s Connor and he shoots. Demco for the right pass save and Elias Patterson gets the loose p. He’s to our left. Connor Halabuk to our right. Demco leading soon is done for the night. And the Canucks down to go. Control the puck to start the second period with Elias Person dumping it in behind the Winnipeg goal. Okconor steals. Tops a threeon two from center. Auatu across. Oh, what a save by Hubba. De Bruss thought he had a sure one. He uses his legs to create the threeon two and Ratu’s going to find De Brusk through Peon’s feet. Patterson full leaves for Garland. Drops. Heronic shoots. Hit the post. Hughes from the other side. Stopped by Hel moved the puck around beautifully on that entry and Heronic will see Hughes again in this game. But he did go to the dressing room and Kane is serving his penalty. 35 seconds left and what a save by Lankan flashing to his right to get the pad on Mark Schley. You have to be athletic but you’ve got to read the play. Lankin and knows that there’s someone over there. He knows it’s a right shot for Fetti. That’s a beautiful pass. He found the lane between Veronic and I’m sure there’s been rosters like this before, but I we’re only what 18 games into the season. It’s just remarkable. Oh, Kane got it through. Hell just wide. Just got enough of it to steer it off the target. It’s called will put the Conucks on the power play as a Vander Kane takes his bouncing puck off Stanley’s stick. Shley leaves for Luke Shen in around for Connor. Center Shiffley and out to challenge and make the save was Lankin who’s been razor sharp since coming in here to start the middle frame. 30 seconds gone in the Jets power play. They move back in. Valardi Connor sharp angle backhander. Stop lengthening the rebound as well as it ricocheted back on goal. Really good entry here and Valardi will find Connor. Connor scored earlier in the year. This very similar shot. It’s in tight and he gets it right under the bar. But Lues is back on the Canucks bench for the third period. Saw Drew O’ Conor in the penalty box. Kup starting the period shorthanded. He still has a minute to serve as Kyle Connor. Josh Morris to Connor again puts one in front. Backhander. Valardi scores. He just chipped it on the backand over the right shoulder of Kevin Lanken. And the Jets are two for four on the power play and lead this game by a couple. It ended up in the net for for Moresy. A rare o a rare careless penalty by Drew O’ Conor late in the second period. Leaves the Jets on the power play and Valardi in the bumper spot. I think most people think that puck is going across to Shley for the one-time, but Valardi stops it as you coming up at the 5minute mark. Third period. Hughes with speed through center. Quinn Hughes in. Cuts left. Turns and centers. Knocked away right off the stick if you whistle one over top of the net. Ber it’s behind Helluck on the line and he sat on the puck. I think it’s right on the line. Referee was there. Nice move to the blue line. Oh, another one. Sherwood shoots. Stopped by Helock. Quinn Hughes stick handling a phone move there and able to set up Sherwood for a hard blast. Patterson checks. Canucks maintain control of the puck. Use Elias Patterson shoots. Passer scores. 90 seconds to go and Brock Besser has the Canucks within a goal. After Valardi misses the empty net, the Canucks are going to get a second light here. Besser keeps the puck alive. Person shot will get blocked by Peon. The rebound right to Besser. He delivers that so quickly. And the Conucks with 90 seconds left have a chance here. Brock Besser shot deflects off the arm of Helluck. This is off the punk block. Gets to it. Jets intercept. Stanley takes his time around for Neer and he’s able to get past. Flip the puck ahead. Here’s a follow with the empty net and he scores. Alex Aollowo in his 600th career game able to ice this one with 47 seconds to go as he makes it 5-3 Winnipeg. Now the Conucks couldn’t get a handle on it two or three times below the goal line and Aayafalo will be able to just push this into the empty net. A win tucked in their back pocket as they get one last chance here. Puck slides free to the near side. Shen on goal, stopped by Lankin. And that’s going to do it as the Winnipeg Jets after dropping the first three games of this road trip get 30 saves from Connor Hel.

Josh Morrissey had a three-point night, and Alex Iafallo chipped in with a goal and an assist as the Winnipeg Jets defeated the Vancouver Canucks 5-3.

  1. Sigh, Demko. Here we go again with another groin injury… Feel sorry for him that he's so prone to many injuries lately.
And after the first period, the Canucks were just out of puck luck. So many chances.

  2. demko's anchor contract is going to weigh this team down for the next 4 years. I knew right away that trading Silovs and re-signing demko was a terrible decision, dude can't even breath without injuring himself. Good decision by Sherwood to not re-sign, with the way he's playing he's set to earn a lot more but given this management they'll let him walk.

Anyone wanna pitch in to buy the Canucks? I got 5 bucks on me right now…

  3. Why did the Canucks offer Demko $8.5 million a year if he can’t stay healthy? If they planned to split starts with Lankinen, why pay him north of $9 million to play 30 games or fewer each season? I just don’t understand this organization. I wish we could focus on a real rebuild instead of this mediocre team year after year. Ever since Aqua man became the owner, this team hasn’t had a proper rebuild.

  4. 1:11 that looked like a real awkward save. Wouldn’t. E surprised if he hurt himself doing that and that why we wasn’t able to make proper stops for the rest of the period.

  5. Why not try to put Myers in the net? That's all he does, playing goalie even when the opponents are all in front of his own net, he won't touch them, he will try to play goalie. The Canucks will never ever have a chance to go to Stanley cup when that guy is in canucks team. He still doesn't know how to skate. Never touch the opponent. Yes he is tall but he is bloody useless.

  6. Sports-NYET, shakey shady spots "streaming" … more like STEAMING PILE OF CRAP. Worst ever. Don't bother. You pay but get ripped off. A whole month and I never had ONE game play through without CRASHING. JUNK JUNK BUNK. FU-Q YOU RIP OFF ARTISTS

  7. If the Canucks PK was just average maybe they could win more hockey games…. It's been terrible to say the least. Feel bad for Demko, hopefully it's just cramps and nothing serious. The 3 goals he allowed weren't his fault, 2 were off skates and the other 1 was a braindead moment from the penalty killers.

  8. OF course CANUCKS LOST again. down by 2 and ohh ohhh score one and make it so close then the empty netter again from the other team (cuz this happens ALOT and Canucks lost another f'n joke all around EP 40? where are you? …DEMKO what "oh I'll play 1 period then go out??????? the next 10 games basically decides the NHL playoffs

  9. canuck fans wait all off season for the next season to start and this is all the efort the canucks can put into there game they dont care about fans or how they feel about the team just as long as they get paid .just a little more effort and the canucks will be a real playoff team but yet to be seen .

  10. Myers had no business being where he was, can’t blame Sherwood for that attempt to clear. Hronek being one of the veterans there can’t play defence by watching the puck. Where’s Demko? I remember someone jumping down my throat about this guy being healthy…..I know injuries, he’s not healthy. Where’s Silovs, oh yah….they traded him(so what ever happened to the organizations draft program where they pick young guys to prepare them for the big league), guess they didn’t tell them the trade part, they should have put that as part of their disclosure when they sign. Seems we’re always looking to rebuild. Something needs to change, either it’s EP40, Meyers, Hronek. But the talks are trading Garland and Sherwood, really? 😂😂😂

  11. maybe picking a canada team to root for is the problem that will suck if true they need to show all canuck fans differant if they want to have any kind of real suport from there fans .
