Justin Fields Press Conference (11/11) | New York Jets

Justin, Thursday night football division rival. How are you guys approaching this week on the short rest? Um, yeah, just trying to recover as quickly as possible and try to, you know, digest his game plan and, you know, go out Thursday night and execute. That’s the biggest thing. But, you know, of course, short week, um, less days to prepare. So, got to really just lock in on the game plan. You know, not as much full speed rep. So, um, just really detailed in the walkthrough and stuff like that. What is the most difficult part about this Thursday game outside of just the physical toll it takes on your body? Yeah, I mean I think you know just full speed reps but um you know we’re all pros so just locking locking in in the walk through um is the most important part when you went back and watch um starting fast and uh just creating more explosives on early. Um, you know, we always preaching start fast and, you know, finish strong. Uh, like I said, after the game on Sunday, I felt like we finished strong, but, uh, I think we got to do a better job with, um, you know, starting fast and, you know, we never want, uh, field goals in the red zone. So, you know, also, um, you know, taking advantage of that and scoring touchdowns in the red zone. What kind of challenge does Patri defense uh, present for the Jazz? Yeah, I mean, they’re they’re a good team, of course. You know, they have a good record, good team, a lot of good athletes on the defense. They play hard, they play physical. Um, so it’s going to be important for us to, you know, uh, play physical and, um, really just execute. That’ll be the biggest thing. And, um, like I said, just going out there, uh, being violent, being physical, controlling, controlling the line of scrimmage and, um, executing. How tough has it been? It’s been a couple games and now looks like a little. Yeah, I mean, it’s tough, but it is what it is. you know, kind of like Cincy week, you know, there’s going to be guys that, you know, have opportunities to go make plays, but no, it’s it’s definitely tough when one of your best guys on offense is out, but like I said, it’s an opportunity for some some other guys to come in and make plays. What have you learned about this season and especially lately? He’s that man. It’s simple. He’s that man. Casino.

  1. Don't understand why you have to do presser for the FB playing worst QB in franchise history. Maybe even NFL history. Any player in the team can throw for 50 yards. Why not give the backups a chance. They can't be any worse than this guy.

  2. I know Justin could not read the back of a cereal box with size 50 font, let alone a NFL defense but I am rooting for him. Also because he most likely the starting QB at moment. lol

  3. 11pass attempts last game. Gotta stop being so hard on Justin and take a deeper look at Tanner. Idk why he wouldn’t get more opportunities to throw the ball coming off the performance against the bengals.
