With the new heave rule in the NBA, there are a lot more players taking these shots before the buzzer from half court or even three/4er court. And that’s why Austin Reeds threw up this absolute prayer, but Luca after that went and told him to pass it to him next time. And it’s one thing to say it, but to actually later in the game prove it is another time out Lakers. Luka threw one in from 3/4 court. And obviously, although it didn’t count, he straight after the shot went in, he went to Reeves and said, “That’s why you pass me the ball.” But that’s not the end of it. With a few seconds left after the whistle, Austin Reeves hit his own heave from beyond half court. The 3.0. That’s just going to Who threw that one in? Austin. But Luka, I made sure to let him know his was from further. So Luca is going to say I was further. Yeah, exactly. He said, Luke, he says, Austin, I shot mine from here. That You know what? I guarantee Mike’s going to ask him about this. That’s a perfect thing. So Luca throws one in Austin. And the two of them spoke about this interaction after the game. Did you make sure to let Austin know that your shot that wasn’t count or didn’t count was from further than his. Is that what was happening? Yeah. And he got one in the game. He didn’t want to pass me. So I made sure he knows I can make that. Well, I saw that actually at shoot around today as well. He beat you in the half court contest, which doesn’t usually happen. I feel like you usually get him in those. That’s not true. That was I won with the one before. He won the last one. So it’s one. It’s not true. Fair enough. Thank you for facteing me. And yesterday I won against him. Okay. You you won yesterday as well. Yeah. Okay. All right. I’m glad we’re keep It’s good that we got that correct. Make that backward shot. Stretch that. Oh, yeah. That’s what I do. Yeah. Sticking on that, it looked like you looked at Austin and maybe talked some trash after you made that shot. What did you say there? Yeah, mine was further. Just point out where where I made it when he made where he made it. So, uh, so make sure he knows that my was for him. After you made the one that didn’t count, you turned to Luke. Was Luca trying to tell you that his was from further back? Was that what that was? Yeah. Um, well, he was mad at me. He was mad at me for grabbing the one at the end of the third quarter and just chucking it. I didn’t know how much time was left and honestly, I thought the ball was out of bounds. So, I was just trying to, you know, throw it down to the other end and maybe get lucky. And he won’t said he he would have gave me an assist if I threw it to him. But, um, yeah, uh, we’ll have to check the check the film and see which one was was further.

  30. Whatโ€™s up with this idea of competing against your teammate when youโ€™re actually playing against a whole Team? Doing that in practice makes sense on the floor fellas ๐Ÿ˜‘, not during the game
