Denver Broncos Just Got MASSIVE INJURY News…

I can’t handle this emotional roller coaster of news about our injuries. We have some brutal news with uh big silver lining. We have some great news about the return of a player. We have some bullish reasons as to why to buy stock in the Broncos beating the Chiefs on Sunday. That and way more in this video. If you’re new to the channel, I’m a diehard Broncos fan named Ben. Helps me in the algorithm out a ton. If you like the Broncos, smash that like and subscribe button. Uh I always start off with the good news before the brutal news. Glass half full. It’s what I do. So, the great news is that the Denver Broncos are going to have Marvin Mims back in this game on Sunday after missing two games to a concussion that shouldn’t have happened. He was supposed to be subbed out of that play against the Dallas Cowboys and all signs are pointing to his return. I think this is a massive thing for our offense to get cooking again. Uh last night in one of the worst Monday night football games I’ve ever seen, uh you saw Jordan Love who makes like a hundred times what Bon Knicks play uh makes just look absolutely abysmal. And all of the Packers fans are coming and explaining that away by saying, “Oh, well, Jordan Love didn’t have Tucker Craft and he opens up this whole offense.” I would argue that Marvin Mims as is as important to this Broncos offense as uh this tight end for the Packers is and he’s going to be back. So, not only is he coming back and he’s like an explosive playmaker as a wide receiver, he’s also your gadget guy and you can line him up in the back field, you can put him all over the place and him coming back is huge. uh the signs pointing to him coming back is just the fact that concussions usually do not, you know, unless they’re horrible, don’t last that long. And the Broncos release Michael Bandandy having uh and so he’s hopefully going to sign back with the practice squad. He did have a couple nice first down catches as that slot receiver, but him being gone is definitely a sign that uh indeed Marvin Ms is back. That’s huge. not only his uh his offensive prowess, but then the fact that you have an allp pro punt returner, allp pro kick returner, and the way this Broncos defense is playing, you know, the ball is being punted to you a lot. Having him back is going to be huge. So, now uh let’s get to the worst news of my day. This is something I actually heard two days ago, but I’ve been sitting on it because uh the first source that I heard it from wasn’t like that reliable. And then messaged a couple people today and feel comfortable sharing this. And that is JK Dobbins. Uh we saw immediately after that game him kind of hobble off. Then he went in and finished the game and we were super bullish like oh thank goodness we dodged a bullet there. Uh but indeed he it looks like he has a midfoot sprain on Thursday because of a hip drop tackle. You saw him come out after that game and just kind of ra uh rail against the rest for not calling this. supposed to be a point of emphasis in the league that you can’t tackle players from the side and then drop your entire body weight on top of them and leave it to the Raiders to take out uh a guy on pace for a thousand yards rushing the ball. So, uh that is a absolutely massive setback. We we can’t understate that um whatsoever. Um and just just reading all over Twitter here about like what is the prognosis? How long is he going to be gone? Very very similar to what happened with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Bucky Irving uh who same exact thing. he came back in the game and they all were breathing sides of relief that he was back and then uh when adrenaline is worn off and you that thing starts flaring up you’re in big trouble. So uh essentially reading a couple doctor’s takes talking to my brother who’s a doctor but he’s my mom’s second favorite son. Um that basically he is expecting JK Dobbins to miss two to six weeks depending on how bad this midfoot sprain is. Uh if it is just a grade one sprain then it could be a one to three week return. So, you’re talking right after that by week. But if it’s grade two, you’re talking what Kyler Murray is dealing with, and that could be like a 4 to 8 week type uh deal. Uh usually landing on the IR. All of the reports today are that the Broncos are actually considering putting him on the IR, which would uh indicate a four-week uh missing four weeks. So, this then the by-week doesn’t count. And so, you’re talking about having him just back for those last few games before the playoffs. Now, silver lining to this is that we have such a huge cushion here, you guys, that the Broncos are going to be okay. They could lose these next four games and still they they have a 92% chance of making the playoffs right now. Uh all of these injuries, you’re talking you’re now missing two of your better players if Pat Sertan doesn’t play this week. So, you’re missing your your defensive captain, defensive player of the year, and a guy who’s probably been your best offensive player of the year. Yes, that’s a huge setback, but at the same time uh you are talking about us having a big enough cushion here uh that I feel good. I also I mean if he has to miss that commanders game, the commanders don’t scare you anymore. We still have the Raiders on our schedule. Like we’re in good shape there. Um and uh on top of that, we’re also seeing um like the Chiefs are in a spot now where they are also down their star uh running back. If any coach has a a game plan and you have to tie his hand behind his back and make him do something out of the ordinary and shock the world, it is truly Shawn Peyton. Like I’ll never forget uh when uh Drew Brees had an injury and Teddy Bridgewwater went in and they all thought the season was over. They rattled off a ton of straight wins and Shawn Peyton joked that he called Drew Brees and said, “Hey, sit out a couple more games.” Like I I think you back somebody in a corner and make them throw everything out and design something from scratch. it is Shawn Payeyton who gives you the faith to do that. And so I I’m not uh I’m super bummed out for the person because I love him. Uh we know that he’s been he’s been labeled injuryprone. I think that that’s a fluke injury based on an illegal tackle. That does not make him injury-prone. And I love the fact that we are going to get him back for uh the playoffs, the playoff run, which is exactly what we want. despite the fact that the Broncos have Certain out, Singleton out and uh and obviously JK Dobbins out, like none of these guys are the season ending injuries that we see all over the internet with all these other teams. And so that that’s a massive silver lining uh for sure. So question becomes, who is your next uh running back one that you’re putting in there? We know he was on pace to shatter that thousandy uh rushing mark, which we haven’t had since Philip Lindsay. And so, is it going to be JK Dobbins or is it going to be RJ Harvey, our our draft pick, who we’re super hyped on, uh, we know when you take a look at like where he has had his most success for sure, he has his most success running out of the pistol. We are familiar with that from all the years following Pton Manning when like he didn’t like being under center because he likes seeing the whole field and so he had to run uh out of a pistol look. Um, and there’s some pros and cons to that and obviously he does very well out of the pistol. So, does Shawn Payeyton just go all hurry up and pistol knowing that that combines bo both bone Nicks’s strength of of pace and playing a hurry up? Um, or, you know, is he your bellcow back or do you just continue to have him as the change of pace back and instead uh give more snaps to Jal? We know he’s been a healthy scratch a bunch of these games, but Shawn Payeyton has tremendous amount of of trust in Jal. the fact that you kept him on the roster even when you don’t give him game jerseys most games. Uh he still has a tremendous amount of trust in trust in him. Do you do something absolutely crazy and have Marvin Mims back there? Uh is it Tyler Bedet or as a lot of folks are saying we also have a guy that we’ve been hiding on our practice squad who is the exact replica of uh a former Shawn Payeyton running back here and this is going to be Deuce Vaughn and you could see a lot of potential here. I I made a video of him during the preseason, which I’ll link uh down here if you want to see like what Deuce Vaughn could add to it. But let me know in the comments. Uh who do you think ends up being your bellcow back now? Is it uh Tyler Bedet? We we also remember last year when you threw Beday into the mix, I think it was week three against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and no one had any clue who this guy was and he looked phenomenal till he had his back injury against the Jets. So I I think Shawn Peyton backed into a corner. That’s exactly where I want Shawn Payeyton. And I I think the Broncos have ammunition now to really know that like, hey, we’re playing with our backs up against the wall here. We’re down Pat Certan. We’re down Alex Singleton. We’re down uh obviously JK Dobbins. I I think that’s when you’re going to see some of the coolest and most innovative things here. And here’s the the facts of the matter is that uh Bon Knicks has not like that last game, everyone’s judging him and saying like he’s not good. Look at how he how he plays when the competition is the absolute toughest. Look at how he played when he went into Philadelphia and just balled out of control in that fourth quarter and stole that win. He He is a franchise quarterback and has put up some of his best performances against this team that he has come to mile high. Uh we’re going to be home underdogs for the first time since going back last year to when the Steelers came to town early in Bon Knick’s uh tenure as a Denver Bronco. And I just think they they feel like the the whole world doubts them. And that’s what you want for these guys to continue to be young and hungry. That Bon Knicks is 48 for 59 with almost 600 yards passing and zero uh interceptions, six touchdowns. Like he’s he’s phenomenal. And uh we still have these Chiefs like propped up in our minds that they’re like Super Bowl champs and they’re this this huge dynasty. The fact of the matter is that the Chiefs have only won one road game all season and it wasn’t even a convincing win and it was against the Giants before they’d made the switch to Jackson Dart. Uh a horrible team and they didn’t look that great. So they are coming to a place that is going to be rockus that believes in our quarterback that believes in this team and loves this team is going to be about as loud as we’ve heard in Mile High in a long time. We’ve won 10 straight games at home at altitude. I love our chances. Uh so does Nick Bonito. He talks about uh in one of his uh he he had this cool event where they his he and his teammates were giving out turkeys to to families and he was saying, “Hey, if we want to be the best, we have to beat the best. This is what we’ve bu been building for. We want to win this division and we have all the belief in this team.” So absolutely love to see that. Uh they are excited for this opportunity to basically knock the Chiefs out of playoff contention. they would have to do something crazy and basically rattle off a bunch of straight wins if they want a chance at this division. Uh if they drop this game and go back down to 500. So, perfect situation there. Uh and then, you know, as we’re discouraged about the JK Dobbins situation, you’re seeing so many of our upcoming opponents ruling out some of their star players. So, not only did the Packers lose Craft, their starting tight end, who’s a game changer, they also had a a fractured leg for one of their starting offensive linemen. Uh, and then we’re hearing that we get to play the Jaguars and they’re not going to have a fantastic wide receiver and a fantastic uh, corner as well. And Travis Hunter, who is officially ruled out of that game because he had a season ending LCL surgery. So, it really is shaping up extremely extremely well for this Broncos team. And again, guys, I I have to reiterate this fact that this Broncos team and the way they believe each in each other and are there for each other, it’s not common. Uh more and more news continues to pour in about Alex Singleton. He had that. We talked about it yesterday, but he ended up having surgery to remove testicular cancer. And this is just incredible that you see George Payton waiting in the medical room uh with his family until things are are are finished. And that that’s just something you do not see in other organizations across the league that one of the best GMs in football is sitting there with your your family wishing you well. Uh and that just metriculates down this entire team. This team is locked in together. They’re ready to shock the world and beat the Kansas City Chiefs. And we’re going to have JK Dobbins back for a playoff push. And guys, we’re going deep in the playoffs. And that’s something we all got to believe in. Ball don’t lie.

Denver Broncos just got a massive injury report. The good news is that Marvin Mims is looking set to return against the Kansas City Chiefs. This is HUGE for our offense as so much of Bo Nix’s “slump” is just a lack of playmakers at the wide receiver position. Having Marvin Mims back makes me feel WAY better about how Bo Nix will look agains the Chiefs.

The BAD is that JK Dobbins looks like he has a foot sprain that could keep him out UP to 6 weeks. This would be a huge blow for the offense. I have LOVED watching JK this year and our offense is not nearly as consistent without him. While I hope the reports I’m hearing are wrong, I am not expecting him to play this week against the Chiefs. Let me know who you think becomes the new RB1 in his absence. Is it RJ Harvey, is it Tyler Badie, is it Jaleel, does Sean Payton do something crazy innovative and put in Deuce Vaughn or Marvin Mims? It’s going to be very interesting. The Kansas City Chiefs are hardly the picture of health and will be without their number one running back as well.

Broncos Country- we have a 92% chance of making the playoffs, we have no season ending injuries, Pat Surtain and Alex Singleton and JK Dobbins will be back for a DEEP run in the NFL Playoffs and that’s something we can all BO-Lieve in!
