Jamal Murray (22.8 PPG, 3.9 FTA) is the only player averaging 20+ PPG to average less than 4 free throws per game. If that number holds, it would mark the 5th straight season he averaged 20+ PPG and 16+ FGA without attempting 4+ FTA.

The league doesnt eant him to get to the line cuz he’s automatic from there
I’d also like to add he is shooting 97% (!!!) from the line so far this year.

It’s probably biased but Nuggets always seem to play much more ethically than a lot of teams.
Genuinely, if Murray added foul baiting to his game like using is off arm way more and shooting as soon as the defender creates even a little bit of contact, I think he would be A LOT more consistent scoring wise
He never gets FT’s when he tries to do same “SGA ” moves lol. Pushing off ( rightfully ) gets called for him but not for other guards like SGA . Same thing for foul baiting , jumping into defender the move thats popular in current NBA to get FT’s …
There is no equality or established rules when calling fouls . Same thing how Portland got away hugging and holding Jokic before he even got a ball and we lost cause of it . If we did same holding move its always a foul call
And on the flip side, fuck you SGA, let’s see his numbers with FTAs.
