New York Jets vs New England Patriots | Week 11 Game Preview
Call it addition by subtraction. New York Jets picked up their second win of the year last week. It was a pretty special day for them. 40 50 one man to beat and he’s going to score 99 yards. They put their oneame win streak on the line versus the Patriots. New England’s win streak now sitting at seven. So that’ll do it. The Patriots walk off the field with another road win. Patriots 8-2 now. Bills, who they have the tiebreaker with at 6 and three. And now they get the last place team in the division, can’t pull a Buffalo and win a big game and then miss the layup the next week. Drake May’s 100 plus rate streak came to an end last week in a game that still saw him throw for 270 yards in a TD, healthy 8.7 per attempt. So, he’s not coming in cold by any means. Going down the field, they’ve got the big play. There he goes running down the sideline as Williams. Pats put up 28 points on Tampa Bay. So Jets looking at an offense that’s clicked for 24 or more in five straight. A catch and a toe tap. Diggs is having a game. They’re now one of those teams that can score plenty of points even when they go five for 14 on third down and only cross the 20 once. But hey, who needs Saus and Quinn? The New York defense May takes on next. Held it down to 20 points last week to help propel them to victory. Six for 16 on third down. Only two red zone trips allowed. And this one’s going to be rolled incomplete. Looking for Judkins out of the back field. Gang Green has held three of their last four opponents under 21 points. Sure, Cleveland and Carolina are two of those opponents. Can only play who’s in front of you. And that was Dylan Gabriel last week. gave up two first half touchdowns to him, but held him to 17 for 32 passing, just 167 yards, only 5.2 per attempt for a sub90 rating. So, Browns now playing no timeouts and pass nearly picked. That brought their season rate down to 103. So, stopping the pass hasn’t been their thing big picture. And neither has sacking the quarterback. But their pass rush is grooving into this matchup. They cracked a Gabriel Sixer in their win. Will McDonald punching his way through to Pulk High School Hall of Fame status with four sacks in one game. Al would be impressed. Gabriel steps up. Gabriel nearly had the football knocked loose. Will Macdonald May only took one sack for one yard loss. Huge turnaround as he’d been dropped six times in back-to-back games prior to last week. Made it easier for him to hook up with M. Holland for 106 yards. He targeted him 10 times. that led the team. Going to go deep again. He’s got a man open and it’s caught in stride by Hollands. He’s pulled in 85 plus in two of his last three games. May hit Kyle Williams for one pass. The rookie turned it into a 72 yd touchdown. Who called it? Here’s the big play. 72 yds to the rookie from Washington State. May didn’t have booty, so he went with the guy who digs booty for a touchdown and 46 yds. and now throws down the middle to Diggs down at the 42 yd line. 98, no 99% sure Cardi would be okay with that bar. Stfane has scored in three straight games. Deario Douglas chipped in with 38 yards last week, but the star of the offense, running back Trayvon Henderson, 147 yards along the ground, two long touchdowns, 10.5 yards per carry. That’s silly. Inside the 20, the 10, and the rookie takes it home for the touchdown. He gets a Jets front that held Quinn Sean Judkins to 3.8 a run. They’ve played running backs in the better than average range this year. You see him, he’s just going to find a small little crease inside against the Jets. They did give up 54 yards on 10.8 a carry to Gabriel. May didn’t use his legs for much last week, but he’s plenty capable. And so is his counterpart in this one, Justin Fields. With 28 rush yards last week, which unfortunately was almost as many as he threw for 54 passing yards, he would have finished with negative net passing yards for a second time this year. If not for a screen pass being converted into a 42yd TD, under five yards per attempt, a 60 rate, he threw a pick. Going to sling one and it is picked right around the 40 yd line. It’s Ronnie Hickman. only 11 pass attempts, which says something about the confidence they have in him throwing. He’s finished with less than 60 yards passing in four of his eight starts. That’s crazy being he’s their QB1. The New England secondary he faces didn’t lock it down last week. Gave up three touchdowns to Baker Mayfield, no picks, rating allowed over 100, 270 plus yards. Gave up 115 and a score to Amecha Ibuka. 82 yards to Cade Uton. gave up two touchdowns to Tez Johnson. Just two sacks on 43 pass attempts. Defense gave in to 23 points. Now flush, now throws and it’s caught. It’s caught on the sideline in the end zone. They also held Baker to less than 6.5 yds per attempt. Only allowed one pass play of 20 plus yards. Held the Bucks to 5 for 13 on third down. New York’s offense only accounted for 13 points in their win. two special team touchdowns. Three for 11 on third down. Only two red zone trips didn’t convert either. A great job by Maguire to just work up field and get his hands on Bree Hall. Jets less than 14 points in three of their last four. All New England’s defensive attention should fall on Bree Hall. He was the only source of offensive production last week. 83 rush yards on four a carry. Took that pass 42 yards to the paint. field. Bree Hall, easy access, big play for a touchdown. Pat’s defense handled Rashad White’s 10 attempts last week with ease. Did give up over five a carry to Shawn Tucker. Allowed Tampa Bay to hit at 5.4 a try on 21 tries and really allows Tucker to get that wiggle you call it to get wide. These two have gotten in the ring twice a year since 1960. three times they’ve met in the postseason, their first back in 1985. As a wild card, the Patriots took to the road far from the friendly fans of Foxboro. The team traveled to three of the toughest arenas in football and each time whipped the home team. Keyed by the cool performance of Tony Een, the Patriots played a near perfect game. The first touchdown came courtesy of an all-out blitz, while place kicker Tony Franklin tied a playoff record with four field goals. But turnovers turn the tide. New England caused four, including one where number 52 Johnny Rember stripped the ball, then scrambled into the end zone to put the game on ice. The historical victory was the Patriots first postseason win since the old AFL.

Easy win for Jets!! Super Bowl here they come!!
LOL nice predictions last week bud all u were wrong but one guy XD
I can't remember the last time I was confident the pats could score 30 points in a game. Let's go
Jets coming off their home win vs the Browns
Patriots coming off their impressive road win vs the Bucs.
Patriots win this game 35-20
Imagine if the jets win? 😂
I am confident that the Patriots should win this, I am just concerned about the shorter rest period, and about us being too comfortable and getting sloppy. We will win if we keep it clean though.
Thursday night games are always weird but the Jets are out almost all their big players, either via trade or injury. Pats should roll.
6:45 was that a barefoot kick??
Jets will.not score a td
Shout out to Polk high school all time TD scorer
Drake “DRAKE LEE MAYEVP” Maye is literally cookin whatever defense is in front of him. Tha game should be good tho, 28-21 Pats

Thank you!🫶🏼☺️
I must be the only one who believe that the Jets will win this game. Jets 24 Pats 21
The Patriots are unbeatable. This team could win by 40 blindfolded
Hopefully, this isn’t a trap game for NE. Hopefully, they stay focused and don’t lose sight. We all saw what happened to Buffalo.
Patriots should blow the Jets out. 31-10.
Patriots are my favorite team every season from now they did kind of bad but now it's a miracle
6:50 those barefoot kickers were something else
