I love this unc. He played solid basketball for all 82 games with us last leason.

Unfornutately at this age the falloff can reach you anytime. It's still possible that LeBron would finally look like 40 year-old coming off sciatica, doubt it tho.

  1. I fully believe he would put up numbers similar to last year with us. Sochan and Wemby were easy feeds with the first unit. His defense and scoring definitely took a hit, but he’s still a good floor general on the right situation

  2. I believe his main priority was being around his family, which he has achieved. Starting/actively contributing was still a part though. Could have continued to help the squad – sorry to see his stats like this. Whatever, he’s already solidified his HOF career, he can retire in peace

  3. Daman bro, he’s old. No need to punch a man when he’s down. Its not like his Spurs career was going to be anything other than 1 year.

  4. I know he said he wanted to play closer to home, but part of believes there’s another reason for him leaving. I think he wasn’t satisfied with last season’s outcome and would rather join a playoff-team. Shit! He would’ve had a big role at the start of the season when Dylan and Fox were out due to injuries.

  5. I appreciate what he did for the Spurs last year, but the wheels are bound to fall off for a guy his age.

  6. If you actually watch some of the Clippers game you would know how dogshit their team as a whole rn

  7. He should be more coach than player at this point in his career. Clippers don’t have many young players he can coach up. He wouldve benefitted more by going to young team closer to home or retire IMO

  8. My boy wanted to be near his kids & honestly I respect that. He knows he probably ain’t going to win a championship with the clippers, hell, he probably knew he wouldn’t win with us either, but he’s come to terms with not winning a championship as a player. His IQ is so good that I could see him winning one as a coach though. Hopefully not for us though, cause that would imply that we need a new coach.

  9. To be fair, the man is 40. It’s expected of him to lose a pep in his step unless you’re LeBron.

  10. Yeah he is washed and was reallly showing these same signs last year especially January and after

  11. Funny how CP was with us for one season where we only won 34 games and he’s already more loved than Kawhi lol For real though, his year here was critical for the young bloods and his legacy will always remain in their approach to the game. Especially Castle.

  12. Doesn’t help that CP3 is on a much slower & veteran Clipper roster compared to starting with the much younger, faster & coach-able Spurs roster. Figure he might actually pursue a buy out by all star break if Clippers can’t figure it out by then to ring chase one last time on another contender for 3 months before officially retiring.

  13. It’s absolutely wild how no one bats an eye at the fact Kawhi is already missing time this early in the season now.

  14. playing and mentoring for us would’ve been fun for him, i hope he enjoyed the time

Clippers was absolutely just for the money/location, i doubt he really feels the urge to run it back like he did last year

  15. He was pretty cooked last season TBH. The spurs were very generous to keep starting him.

But dude is a first ballot hall of fame and deserved that level respect. He should have called it then. Now he’s pretty much doesn’t have a damn thing left.

Anyways in his prime dude was the point God and that’s how many of us will remember him in his time in the league.
