  1. That’s not consistency, he never had a ***broken hip*** in DC and never got injured this early into the season

Yeah Beal may not have left on the best terms but it’s is sad to see him go like this

  2. Yeah I’m never gonna try to dance on top of another hooper’s injuries. I hope his surgery goes well and his recovery does too.

  3. He would’ve still been on his supermax if he was here….

For anybody who wishes for the “Beal era” to come back I want you to keep that in mind

  4. I get that the way he left wasn’t the cleanest exit but it gets to a point where it is water under the bridge. His bad exit didn’t to me erase the years when he was a really good player here. I don’t take any pleasure in this and hope he gets better soon.

  5. Man it’s crazy cause I wanna hate bro so bad but like he wasn’t a bad person he was just put in terrible situations by our franchise.

I guess we all wanted him to be more Wall than Beal.

Praying for brother Beal’s speedy and healthy recovery.

  6. One day yall will appreciate bro too. He gave us a lot even when the media was pushing him to dip on us for years. Shows how they turn on guys too. He went from the guy being held hostage by the wizards to overpaid trash in their eyes so fast. Sad to see but hope he can bounce back still.

  7. I’ll be honest, I think he’s the most overrated player I’ve ever seen. He was never great for us. Never clutch, missed so many shots when the game was on the line. Never made his teammates better. I wish the guy the best, but never in my mind was he that good.

  8. Alright this is crazy cmon, any one of us would have signed the supermax, Sheppard was the fucking team ruining moron here

  9. Y’all suck.

Beal and Wall were the only reason we’ve been an enjoyable team to watch in the past decade. After everything he gave us, how can y’all just hate on him?

  10. The sad thing is that he was very durable initially in his career. He used to be very durable. Now he can’t stay healthy. Some guys just cannot last physically with age. Their bodies simply cannot handle the physical demands necessary to perform at the professional level.

Brad had already noticeably lost some quickness. This is going to rob him of more and he’ll be 33. I expect the Clippers to trade him…he doesn’t make much money. He does have a player option, but he’s someone a tanking team would take on with the hope he either rehabilitates value or if he doesn’t, they just cut him.

  11. I do think the chances have really increased he finishes his career in DC, there’s nothing left to lose and the Wiz aren’t likely to compete for another few seasons, can see him wrapping things up with the scoring title, bringing scoring off the bench in a 20 MPG like role. But that’s all down the line and just a thought.

  12. To be fair, his health issues got a LOT worse after he left DC

Nothing but love for Beal (now that we are off that contract)

  13. Some of you saying our best years were with Beal are tripping. I never believed in those teams. They never even got to 50 wins.

  14. I liked that we traded him but who’s to blame the man for accepting a contract we gave him. Beal was a long time wizard and idk why you guys are hating

  15. Broken body. Sad to see. Was easily my favorite wizard after wall. That hamstring when he was going for the scoring title really fucked him up and then the foul rules changing idk it’s sad to see his career end like this. Bro has quite the generational wealth tho so he will be fine
