Lmao obviously?
This shit needs to die.
Ouch that comparison graphic though. And this was with a pearsalless Mac
I love both of them a lot. But at this point still always Brock.
nah… im gonna bench the dude we paid more than Joe Montana’s entire career.
Probably because it’s not
Kyle makes Mac better. Brock makes Kyle better. That’s the difference. This is a no brainer and if somebody doesn’t think so they aren’t watching the 49ers very close.
Mac is a statue. Yes he’s done well. I’m not taking anything away from Mac but Brock’s ceiling is much higher than Macs. If you think Mac is actually better than Brock you don’t know ball
Boooooo to the mod that removed my posts about the dangers about Brock playing this weekend! The curse wheel had spoken! Purna does NOT have the power to override it!
I’m hoping that Brock being healthy as the backup/emergency QB last week is indicative that we’re taking our time bringing him back. I would hope he’s at a solid 90-95% turf toe wise and there’s not much risk of reinjury.
We really need to see what this offense looks like with Brock, and what it’s missing. It’s basically a lost year, but I’d rather this team fights towards a playoff spot, shows what the team is made of and continues the team standard, and gives us that 1% cinderella chance. If Brock can do that with this squad, than I think the team deserves to have win now moves made for next season, and key 1-2 year extensions for the best players.
But if not, then maybe we need to be realistic about building up our offensive line, getting some more dependable secondary pieces, and letting older or just good players walk for draft capital. Which would suck, but the team’s already old overall, if we keep holding off on making the right decisions, we could find ourselves a perpetual 1 playoff win type of team for another 2-3 years and then be left with whatever our draft has gotten us, which is a bit scary with our hit and miss drafting in the early rounds.
Let’s be honest Mac wasn’t our problem. Getting Brock and Pearsall back is going to be great but we can’t put any pressure on the opposing QB and we can’t create turnovers. Our record is okay and our schedule is easy enough but we will lose to any remaining good teams if we can’t pressure their QB or create turnovers. I love the Niners and as a fan I’m a realist. Hope filled cheering is tough for me to do when we look so hopeless and we can’t stop the other team.
We beat the rams with a huge turnover while we still had Warner. Bosa closed the game with a sack and fumble recovery after Seattle just marched down the field on us.
Unless something changes we’re in deep trouble.
Curious what would happen if purdy had like 3 straight awful games.
