The league and TV networks give so little respect to the AVS, especially with them being cup champs a few seasons back.
ESPN would’ve said “Mackenzie Blackwood, #29, Defenseman”
I noticed that too, hehe.
After listening to the interview, I think his new nickname should be “Rainman” with all the analysis he does as people hop on and off the ice. That was CRAZY. The only thing I tend to think of when I play is, “Good LORD I’m out of shape.”
the way he’s been playing it’s understandable if they mistook him for prime vasy
