    I’m not allowed to watch Toronto Maple Leafs anymore because I moved an hour closer to Windsor and now I am somehow in the blackout zone? I fucking hate the NHL.

  3. My guess would be that they had to wait for legal reasons. Theres probably a clause in the player agreement.

  4. Elliotte Friedman said in 32 Thoughts on Monday that Kampf’s contract had clawback language in it so if they were to terminate the contract he may have to pay back some, or all, of his most recent signing bonus.

  6. I get Kampf didnt want to play on AHL, but man, I really feel like hes just ruined himself from a PR perspective. He’s likely gonna be a 4th liner forever, but what team will take you if they know your option with him is “nhl or risk me quitting if you put me on waivers/AHL.” not to mention all the money hes gonna lose. Leafs could have at least let him play in the marlies and then worked with him to trade him to a team he wanted to play, or a team that woulda needed someone like him.
