Meet The Utah Mammoth’s Mascot, Tusky!

The Utah Mammoth officially have a mascot. Go ahead and watch him emerging at center ice for his reveal. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] This is I talk hockey every single day to make sure you follow so you don’t miss anything. But everyone go ahead and meet Tusky, the newest mascot for the Utah Mammoth. And I think the design for him is really cool. I really like how fluffy that they made him. But I also like that they didn’t make him like a normal woolly mammoth color. I think the color scheme that they went with will make him much more approachable for children and stuff like that. And I think it’s just a good design all around. I saw some people complaining online they didn’t make Tusky like actually woolly mammoth colors. But I think the fact that they didn’t plays into the whole mascot because when you look at him, he has those mean eyes. So if you make him like a brown, he’s going to look very unapproachable for children. But by making them fun colors like they did, they can still go ahead and give him those fierce looking eyes, but they still make him more approachable for children, which is the ultimate goal.
