The Saints FLEECED The Jaguars With This Trade!
The Saints absolutely flee to the Jaguars with this trade. Mickey Lumis did something good for once, and it’s a step in the right direction. But does that overturn all the evil he’s done to the franchise over the past few years? Absolutely not. It’s like that one friend you got who can’t talk to women. That was me. Just kidding. But then one day you see him talking to a girl and it’s like, okay, good for him. Step in the right direction, but does he have game? No, no, no, he does not. That’s Mickey Lumis right now. A few good decisions recently like the draft class stuff. The draft class looks pretty good. A pretty good trade between him and the Jacksonville Jaguars, which the Saints won. Now, the Devon Vele trade is still very much sus. And am I calling him a good general manager? No. He’s bottom three in the league, but he’s taken a few steps in the right direction now. Maybe he’s like bottom five instead of bottom three. And if you don’t know which trade I’m talking about, it’s the Luke Forner, Colin Saunders trade. Saunders was released today by the Jaguars. Luke Forner has been pretty damn good for the Saints filling in for Eric McCoy. And so we’re just going to be revisiting that trade because I think the Saints very clearly won. They I think they very clearly shucked the Jags in that trade. I’m sorry. I just have to start doing that in every damn video now. Either way though, I appreciate it for you even tuning in. Help me get my engagement and my views up. All that being said, let’s dive into the video. [Music] Pretty dry day of NFL news for like videos and content and stuff like that. But then we got some interesting stuff that Colin Saunders was released. So, I thought it’d be a good idea to revisit the trade the Saints made with them and how the Saints won that trade. Uh, back before the end of the preseason, the Saints traded Colin Saunders to the Jags for center Luke Forner. When the Saints traded Colin Saunders, it was very obvious like he wasn’t going to make the team. He wasn’t good, but people love him because he’s fast, funny, and dances, but he really wasn’t that good of a player. And they also made this trade like two hours after their preseason game ended, which was completely wild. But so far, I think this is working out for the Saints. Uh, Saints got fleeced. Forner is so bad. Can’t believe this is a full trade. Jags fi actually won a trade. Jags committed robbery. Hindsight 2020, fellas. This trade was absolute dog [ __ ] for the Jacksonville Jaguars. And the Saints fleeced Jacksonville. Jags fleeced. Why do we trade [ __ ] Everyone here is saying the Jacksonville Jaguars fleeced the Saints. And here we are two months later and Colin Saunders gets released from the Jaguars. What has he even played this? Or I mean obviously he’s played this season. He’s suited up. But what what exactly have been his stats this season? Oh my god. He’s played in two games. Has three tackles. No. Yes. Yes. Three tackles. He’s played in two games in the big 2025 and uh just got released. Had three tackles. He’s been, I’m assuming, a healthy inactive for this for the Jags damn near every week. So much for the fleece that happened. This guy was not going to make the Saints roster regardless. I’m glad we traded him because Luke Forner has actually been pretty damn good for the Saints filling in for Eric McCoy. When the Saints lost Eric McCoy in 2024, that was basically it. Like that season’s over. It’s over. The Saints were shut. So when Eric McCoy got injured a few weeks ago out in Chicago and was out for the rest of the season with a torn bicep, all of us probably assumed that the season was over and that the Saints would not be able to score a touchdown for the rest of the season cuz that’s basically what happened last year. But that really hasn’t been the case. Luke Forner has been out there performing pretty damn good for the Saints at the center position. Honestly, I haven’t even noticed him on the field, and that’s a good thing, which is crazy considering the Saints offensive line has like completely changed. Kelvin Banks on the left side, baller, one of the best players on the team. Left guard Trevor Penning, butt cheeks, but then now he got traded. Dylan Raiden’s in there. I think he’s going to be fine. Average. Okay. Right guard Caesar Ruiz, butt cheeks. He’s been okay, though. He’s been average, which is good for him. And then Fuaga, but then he got hurt. So they got Aim Richards in there. So really, like the offensive line is Kelvin Banks and Friends right now. But Luke Foreigner has actually been playing pretty damn good. I found this thing on center. Oh my god, did I just call Twitter center? Yes. Yes, I did. Does that make me an idiot? I think so. Stupid. And I really honestly have no idea if it’s accurate, but since I’m a content monkey, and I need to find information to make videos, I’m just going to roll with it and say these are actually correct numbers. Since becoming the Saints starter in week eight through week 10 at the center position for the Saints, he’s allowed zero sacks, zero quarterback hits, he’s allowed two pressures, and uh there these are his PFF grades. Whether or not these are 100% accurate, don’t look at me. I’m just the content monkey who got this information up for the video. I’m assuming though it’s a pretty accurate saints reports.com. I’m assuming they probably put stuff out there that they want to be accurate. So, I’m assuming they got all their information from PFF. And PFF stats aren’t always the best to go off of. I think their grades for offensive linemen are good measuring sticks. Sometimes they have pressures accounted differently than other places, but PFF to me is the best place to like really get an idea of offensive line play. So, these are some of the numbers from Luke Forner, who has been playing pretty damn good for the Saints in place of Eric McCoy after they traded him for Colin Saunders and the Saints got fleeced. And I promise you, I’m not just talking out of my ass right now. Nick Underh Hill, the guy who covers the Saints the best for nof said the forner trade was a good and quietly important move. Yeah, the Saints in the offseason signed Will Clap to come in and fill in for Eric McCoy in case he got hurt. Well, on the first preseason snap, Will Clap got injured and he’s out for the season. So, their insurance policy and their backup plan was out the window. So, making the Luke Forner trade made a lot of sense at the time and now we understand why they made the trade. He’s been doing a pretty damn good job filling in for Eric McCoy. The offense to this point has not completely fallen apart, but it’s gotten pretty damn close. The Buccaneers game was not necessarily great for the offense, but not because of him. The offense just sucked. Same with the Rams game, but the Panthers game got back on track a little bit. And that’s what’s said right here. He’s kept the offense from cratering, becoming a disaster the way it has gone for the Saints in the past when he’s gone out. Eric McCoy is probably the only AllPro player on the team. And right now, Luke Forner is doing a good job filling in for him. Now, could he be absolute dog [ __ ] in the next game? Absolutely. But right now, as I am recording this video, Luke Forner has been doing his thing for the Saints. And that’s why I simply say the Saints won the trade and fleeced the Jacksonville Jaguars. They traded away a player to another team who played two games and got three tackles and and just got released. Meanwhile, the guy they got in return has been a pretty damn good fill-in player for their best player on the team. Not a bad trade in my opinion. Now, the one bad thing that Luke Forner has done was Sunday versus the Carolina Panthers, and it was when he snapped the football up his gu on the fourth down play and basically caused the Saints to to punt the football instead of going for it on fourth down. I don’t know what happened here. He did the pump fake snap. Like, you let go of the football, dude. Unless he just wanted to have the ball touch his his goo. Unless he likes that kind of thing. I really don’t know how he forgot to snap the football. Unless he thought it was like an under center snap because if it was under center, wouldn’t Tyler Shuck be taking the football right there? I don’t really know what happened here. The pump fake snap, he’s like, “Oh [ __ ] I still have the football.” And then he snaps it up again, hits his butt cheeks, awkward snap, and it was called a uh penalty and they ended up punting. This is really the only bad play that I’ve seen from Luke Forner. It was the up the guuch snap on fourth down versus the Panthers. Other than that, I really have no complaints when it comes to pass protection. I think he’s done a good job of protecting the quarterback, hence the words pass protection. The running game though, I don’t really know because the Saints run game outside of the Panthers game has been just poo really all season long. I don’t think that’s a Luke Forner thing. It might be a system or a scheme or a Caesar Ruiz and Trevor Penning thing. But overall, I think the Saints pulled off a pretty damn good trade here. They got a valuable player, a valuable backup who’s been filling in for the Saints best player, playing decent football, not [ __ ] up. And really, that’s what you ask for in your backup to not [ __ ] up. And he is not really doing that outside of that one play. All right, I still got to edit this video. I got class shortly. So, that’ll do it for this video. Please like the video and subscribe. Help support the channel. Help us get to 15K. I’m Cash and I’ll catch you next time. I don’t know why I just did that when I wasn’t even talking about myself. I’m Cash and I’ll catch you next time. Have a good one. Peace. [Music]

Micky will waste shough rookie deal then pay him 300 million after to win 9 games for the next 10 years unless kellen got a scout team and says we got it from here and we get the team we need
Honestly our line has looked better with these guys
Saints Report is a HUGE fan-forum message board. Before there was a Facebook, a Twitter, or even a Youtube, it was the place to be for Saints fans, et. al.
A content-monkey would probably find it useful still today.
Bottom 5 still sucks!😮
We should go get him back
