My first time seeing, I really thought Raleigh was going to get it this year.
I do think they got it right
I’m getting downvoted to hell on r/baseball for saying Raleigh should have won but his job is so much harder than Judge that his offensive output is that much more impressive.
Excited for BRef to update (probably sometime tomorrow morning) their MVP Shares page. Jose is ranked among some all-time greats.
josey now has the most mvp shares of anyone not to ever win, and everyone ahead of him is either in the HOF, active/not yet eligible or roiders/gamblers
