NHL Highlights | Sharks vs. Flames | November 13, 2025

to Foley and Coleman catching up only for
a few more seconds. Then the puck drops and we’re underway. Sharks and Flames. Glad
you’re with us tonight. He’s had some great chances. Here come the Flames off a turnover.
Hubo to Berby. Berby shot off a stick of Wilan right onto the goal. That was an awkward stop
for Ascarov, but he makes it. Clapka, who’s had success against the Sharks in his career,
nearly found the opener. Dickson, young D man, turned it over. Zary tried to throw it. Goes
to Longford. Right back. Save by Anderson took the bump to make the play. Up ice it goes. Fairy
across to C. He’s got lots of time. Cry in. Shoots just off the blocker of Ascarov. Cat is trying to
pick his spot. Drops it back for Bean on the tape. Booedo to Frost. His shot handled by Ascarov. And
he swipes it to the farboards. Weager now with it. He’ll carry and shoot. Sharp angle. Piece of
the cuff of the glove I believe of Ascarov. Yeah, he’s just really thoughtful guy and that intensity
I’m sure that’ll shine through on the broadcast. Always fun with Scott and Eric involved and high
dangers obviously favoring Calgary that way too. Oh, what a play at the line by Weaguer. Spinama.
His shot off the glove of Ascarov. That would have been highlight real material. the better. And Ryan
Reeves is going to come out to the point and try and take away the middle of the ice. And Weaguer
just spins around now. That’s the best save. Cadry out of the corner on to Weaguer. Finn on the pass.
Cadry picks it up though. Saves it on the ball down low. Karen’s looking for a touch. Clenberg
got a piece. Not out at the line. Weer shot right on. Rebound Barbe. And he was hoping back trying
to beat the one in net. That was Ascarov, but it was right in front of him. Anderson a little puck
bobble but he holds off Tyler TFO’s advances now. Back in behind the DD off the post. What a move
by Michael Blin. He’ll draw a penalty but he nearly finished it off. This puck out of midair.
I thought Rasmus Anderson throws it right up. Yes, it was a midair. Dehar reaches in. He’s going
to take a two-minute hooking penalty. But a great effort by Michael Blin and right off the
post. How close is that? They’re getting their chances though. Great hand eye by Michael
Flames have the momentum this period trying to cash in here. Cather his shot just wide.
Deflected. Hubo in front. Denied by Ocarov who stayed with it. And Gra who has a shorty this
season comes up. Able to hang on to that puck a bit longer. Wraps it around. Good to grab a
but he missed it. Not in cohesion with Weager back the man with the puck. In fact, it does work
out well for the Flames up ice for Flames converging. Coronado straight to the net. A
shot stop rebound and Cross was right there. But the left shot they’d love to see a one on
the board. Padrick to Weager shot knocked down in the skates of Karens. He was tied up and it
does reach Agarov. No problem. But maybe just a little bit more urgency. I don’t want to overlook
that. Won’t stop because after all that Flames pressure that puck goes in, it’s a way different
feeling. You’re exactly right. So good eyes by you partner Flames. Another test for Ascarov and
he comes up with a stop. Some strong penalty killing numbers here and Coleman races up ice.
He is a short-handed goal this season. Coleman in shoots and nearly snuck it through Ascarov
down to Kurishv. Kurtishev shoots short side stop on the sting side by Wolf or takes the shot.
Played back over by Wenberg but he goes back to the bench as that puck comes out. Bonsik with 5
seconds left and the kill will go to the bench. Sharks with some speed but now a chance for
a break. Here comes Cad with Coronado out of the box. Cad to the net hard and just missed.
Going around Ascarov. Terry was holding the line. Made sure that pass to Lumber. Ball
shot stopped by the flat pad of Ascarov. Boy, the Sharks are caught out
there forever again, aren’t they, John? They have had some lengthy shifts.
Flames have had some long possessions. Nearly turned over at the end of the shift
by Zeri. Now it is turned over. She scores. Blake with the beauty. Flames lead at one.
Last one. He started to take the game over. Cavary great up now. Watch his power move going
to get around the defense and gets body position. Ascro with a check and then let’s take a look.
What did I say in the first period? Turnovers. That’s the problem for the Sharks. There’s two of
them consecutively and then Blake Coleman takes advantage of it. Goes far. That one off the tips
of Coronado right to Celebrating Sweet. But that was changing. Didn’t even spot that puck. This one
floats into Wolf. He’ll let it go off skate. That one nearly available now. Bean finds it. Thrown to
the front and Ascarov will take a breath. Coronado sends the flames back in. Frost just finding
some time. What a pass over to Raspus Anderson who handled it out in front. Coronado rock finds
Fairy to the front. He was looking for Cadry. couldn’t get there in time. Car cross ice right
to the hall. What a stop by Ascarov. All right, here’s that hockey sense we were talking
about with Carrick. What a beautiful pass across and Flames one for one to find that
puck. Soy hun in there to Foley to Smith. Point blank and a right pass stop in the
grab back to the line. played to Kurichev. Once again, Kurishv is shot rising. Piece of that
by Wolf and Backlin will have two options as he skates it into the San Jose zone. Back puts it on
and stole the puck and or locked down. Uber does pick it up. It’s in his skates. Set up. Hot shot
up the mask I think of Ascarov and he’ll blink twice and the puck comes out. You notice John
about Ascarov? He’s a little bit like Dustin Wolf. He’s much taller but stays on his feet longer than
most goalenders. Like most goalies would have gone down in the butterfly on that opportunity
by Matt Cornado. He stayed right on his feet. He just read something with how the stick
blade was open and so most likely going high. We hear a blast passed off as big rebound there
but it’s pushed to the corner. Flames like what he had and he’s back in the pole tonight.
His shot stop and the rebound came out. Pocket pick by Bar’s just doing it
all. Cy trying to finish but the club from Ascarov gets in the way
of that. say about 8 years, John, where they’re asking the goalies to read
the play a little bit more and if you can stay on your feet typically going to
the butterfly if that’s what’s called on the hall back around back in
behind the sharks netz changing bean takes a look filters one through
and is stopped by sharks in from the ball. He’s got some time and space. Leaves for Zer to take it up ice into the corner.
Kaka arrives first on the Zary. Quenber on to Will Smith. Back to Wberg.
And there comes Khnets to take that away. Back to the line.
It nearly came out on Orlo. Smith around. Clayberg shot stopped. Knob
pushes the puck to the far wants to get out. Zary and Longer will take over. Longer
again shoots and blocker stop Ascarov. Anderson some traffic in front. Won’t
shoot. Cry cross ice. One timer and Ascarov got up on the cross. One time
bid. He’s definitely done his job. Sharks looking back door. Celibbrraini was there.
You know that motor’s running into the corner. Hansick nearly got to it. Clayberg able to pivot
back. Backlin steals a puck. Backlin dangles. Backlin trying to get to the front and just could
not finish that sequence and moves off. Captain’s had some jump in the step tonight. Is he ever
celebrating far side plays it in front. Stoppette. That’s got a great shot. He gets a great
opportunity right there. It’s partially blocked though, but the puck goes right back in
front. Watch Celine quick little backhander that shot blocked. Comes back to the front and another
save. What a great save. Dustin Walter. Celebr shoots and Prescott got enough of that one
to keep it out. Kishv off his skate. Flames want to turn it around. Coronado turns it over to
Poland. Shoots stop. He looked behind him and he keeps it out. himself and just banged his stick
on the ice after shooting wide. 18 seconds to go. Back into the Calgary zone. W keeps it moving.
Backwood will clear. Hustling up. It empty scores. Save this best for last. Here’s a Celebrini shot.
Now the battle behind the net. Sharks are going to try and just go low to high and reattack.
Here’s Celbrini get back to Clingberg for the one-time and a great save by Smith and Michael
Bick just flips this into the neutral zone. Beautiful play. Hans chases it down. Scores two
nothing. That’s an impressive win for the Flames. Nearly perfect night and the Calgary
Flames get a two nothing shut out

  1. Askarov continues his impressive run of just 1-2 goals against per game, it is clear the ONLY way to beat him is to suffocate the Sharks entire offense. Good game Calgary.

  2. Though u guys have to play 6 games to score more then 1 goal, mgmt has gotta get out of n dispose garb dino n underperforming players 2 have a chance to be relevant this season
