Save. Rebound. Samoskevich is stopped. Going to be a heavy game. Here’s a good chance by the Florida

years ago out of Boston College. Terasoft with the stop on him. Wilson fights his way ahead. John 
Carlson having a big offensive year. Terasoft. Florida fought off that slap shot. Carlson is 
eighth amongst NHL defenseman in scoring. Close to Rain and Got it out to center. Stole it away 
there though. Protest puts it deep in the zone for Mcichael. Now Sandine from the point sends it 
across. Gets the return feed. Takes a shot easily stickked by Terasov. Rodriguez line against 
Ovetkin. The matchup for Paul Maurice here. Stro the centerman carries in. Drops it off and 
gloved by Terasov. And this time just flipped out of there. Sabrango first man back for the 
Panthers under a little pressure now. Taken away and Terasov’s got to make the save on Lapierre. 
The puck into the net. Couple assists last outing. Look at that puck just bounce. Just wouldn’t 
lay down for him and Kerasov comes up makes a nice blocker save. Look at how he reads that puck 
time perfectly and a puck. Good size at 62 223. Roy looking for a shooting lane. Has one. Teras 
off. Another save. Dowed picks up the loose puck. Here’s Dame. Has a man out in front. Chisum 
shoots. Glove. Save by Terasov. And then he kicks out another one. Sango trying to clear. Sandine 
holds in another shot and they score. The Capitals take the lead one to nothing. And right before 
that, just spectacular saves there by Terasoft for the Florida Panthers. Not one but three. Take a 
look at this flurry right here. There’s the first save. Couldn’t handle the rebound. But then look 
at how he stretches out. Walks down along the ice. And then here’s the wrist shot that’s deflected. 
No opportunity. We’ve seen that almost every game that Terasoff has played for the Panthers. A shot 
like that. Duham just a stick on the ice and right underneath the bar. No chance. Rodriguez 
finds Mika and the Panthers break it out. for Haggi after the loose P rolls up the 
boards. This is Nicholas shooting stick save. Rodriguez on the rebound answers back and 
we are tied at one in the blink of an eye. The key on this goal is Nico Mika staying in the 
offensive zone. We talked about that. Look at Nico Mika. He just stays in there. That 
puck goes along the boards. He just fires it on the net. Look at that rebound. Comes right to 
Rodriguez. He lifts it high and he lifts it far. So two games in a row, Panthers defense in on 
every goal. Steel Loena. This is a threeon two. Marian over the blue line. Loena back for 
Marian. He sweeps it on the backhand stop. Rebound loose. Coming out of their own zone. 
Quickly moving the puck. Luster lo in and over to Marian. Comes in on that backhand. Look at a 
little toe drag, but it just rolls off the Zen of the stick. Another look at it here. The feed 
sees a little daylight. Waits for Thompson to make that move. The Anton one. Sandine under 
pressure. Loin forces the turnover. The lead pass blocked away. Now Marian gets over the 
line. Here they come again. Marian turns, shoots wide. Lundelle jams at it off the post. And 
now Greer’s got it. Greer centers the chance. Oh, Thompson. A save on Luke Cunning who was coming 
right down Broadway and the Cavs dump it into the Panthers own. Dow settles it down. Here’s 
Cherin in the slot shooting. Good blocker save by Terasol. Duh who scored the goal for the 
Capitals. Round it comes to Roy takes the shot deflected by Frank in front. Sabrango takes the 
puck finds Samoske Leonard comes into the Panther zone. Good defensive work by Nico Mika with the 
body. Sort of got a steal on the cross ice pass. Leonard shoots. Great glove save. Rebound. 
Carlson stopped time and then back down at the other end. Here’s the first shot. Teros 
off the glove and then he positions himself perfectly and Lundell finds an opening to just 
get it past Sandine to center. 20 to go on the power play for Washington. Here comes Leonard 
down the wing looking in front. The shot saved by Terasov and Cunnan is shaken up. He’s all bent 
over. Caps hold in. Roy sends it across. Faravari shoots one more time. Chisum pressured by Carter 
Hagy. Rodriguez is there with Frank. Verhag. He’s got it. He shoots. Kicked out by Thompson. 
Forsling on the rebound. Another kick save. Gustaf Forsling will flip it in on goal. Back to 
even strength. Low stating works below the goal line. Here’s Forsling. Here’s the shot. Deflected. 
Score. The Cats cash it in. They’ve got the lead. They work it back to the point. Here’s a 
shot from Forsling. Oh yeah. Beautiful tip. Cole Schwint will get credit with this goal. 
Perfect angle right there off the shin pad. Oh, they don’t ask how they Oh, tough break there. 
That puck hit the linesman. Panthers keep it alive anyway. Now it pinballs back to Jones. 
Anton Lundell for Jones. Verhagy lets it fly. Thompson the save. Reinhardt the rebound. 
Score on the power play. Reinhardt does it. All kinds of numbers out in front of the 
net. Verhagy gets it through. That’s the key. And there’s that loose puck and slapped at 
it last there by Reinhardt after Marian tied up the stick of the defenseman. And there’s another 
look at it. Look at Logan Thompson already down. No chance. Panthers still trying to get this out 
of the zone. Wilson’s got it. Hands it off. Here’s a chance at the net. They score. Sort of tapped it 
in. The Capitals are within a goal. Panthers just could not get the puck out of their own zone. And 
then when that puck came to the front of the net, there’s just too much room. Chin comes right down 
and nobody picked up sort of as Nico Mika was taking the man in the high slot. There you see up 
on the left of your screen and sort of was all by himself. Nothing Terasoft could do. Tough open 
loaded out to center. Heckl with a good stick broke it up. Landell at the caps line. Sends 
it around the boards. Losing put it behind the Washington. Londell out in front. Reinhardt scores 
again. Reinhardt second of the night from Lundell. Oh, Rhino’s got a huge pair here 
on home ice. That puck jumps free, centered by Lundell. There’s Reinhardt. It 
was a hard pass. He had to watch how he uses his body as skate then puts it on his stick, 
waits out Thompson. Fires it in the open net. Springs Boquist into the Washington 
zone. He’s cut off by Lapierre. Turnover. Bennett at the net. Waits and shoots 
Thompson. The save. Marian will carry. Give to Lundell and get it right back. Jones up at the 
line. Marian and Jones play catch. Lundell’s out in front. Jones shoots off the crossbow and 
Higgy scores. The Panthers have a handful. Here they work it around. Good patience. There’s 
the red shot. goes off the crossbar and Thompson the goender. Pavilier has it. Floats it out in 
front of the Panther net. Tipped away by Loin. Oh, they couldn’t clear. Leonard shoots. Great 
glove save. Terasov got hit the official. Cross ice pass. Another chance in front. 
Terasoft may have gotten a piece of that. Hard battle in front of that Panther net of the 
Capital score. Ryan Leonard was going at it with Londell and that shot from the line finds its 
way in. It’s five to three. Panthers couldn’t get a clear just seconds before that. Equat 
tried to get it out and he hit the official. Kept alive by Washington in the Panthers 
zone. Here’s the shot through a screen. Another look. There’s Leonard and 
Lundell. And somehow it just squeaks. Battle along the boards. Londell from 
Marshan. Empty net. He gives to Losan at two. Shoots and Mane’s got a,000 
points. There it is. There it is. The 102nd player in history to a thousand. And 
the Panthers are off the bench to mob them. goal. Marian with the primary assist and this 
primary assist as well for number thousand. Empty net goal by Loyisteran. And look at the 
Panthers. They knew it and jumped over the bench to congratulate. Oh, he was great tonight. 
It’ll be 37 saves. You can’t wait for the post game. And Brad Marshan with this one. A,000 
points in his career and the Cats win it six-3.
