Imagine how things would look if we had those points on the boars. We need to clean up these drops.
Zaccheaus with that dropped almost sure fire 90+ yard TD pass still haunts me.
I wonder how many of these are OZ. At this point i dont care about the playbook, experience, etc. Burden should be taking OZs job as WR3. No defense will be able to stop us when we run 11 personnel with DJ, Rome, Burden, and Loveland as our base.
So the drop rate isn’t very high, but is costing us more big plays, am I reading this correctly?
Luther Burden likes this stat
Honestly, I always wonder what goes down as a drop.
Our receivers need to be better no doubt, but some of the ones I see people complaining about are poorly placed fast balls.
I think in general Calebs placement has gotten better, so im expecting WRs to get better as well .
Every QB being positive means this graph has room for improvement. If it can be normalized with the mean being zero, we can see TRUE expected points lost based on the average amount of WR drops
Obviously everyone is going to get on Zaccheaus for this after this past week, but Rome has also been plenty guilty as well over the past month for this stat being as high as it is.
It’s more just I expect Rome to clean that up over time, while for Zaccheaus I don’t.
Hurts seems so biased. Can’t drop a pass that’s never thrown.
Pour one out for Tlaw tbh. He gets a ton of flak but his receivers have been brutal this year
And I’m certain this doesn’t even include everything… I’m still thinking about that kmet drop in the raiders game… just brutal and almost lost us the whole game
Funny how low packers are on this list since they constantly blame dropped passes on why they can’t win when the defense holds opposing team to under 16
I’d like to see that broken down by receiver too. I think we all know who’d be on top without even looking though.
Not to victim blame but Caleb do be throwing it 100mph sometimes
Fucking zaccehous
This isn’t getting into contested catches… which we have not been great on
Well lot if the drops were either in endzone leading to settling for field goals or would’ve extended drive into scoring range so 5th isnt all that surprising to me
I bet this number was considerably lower before the game against the Giants. There were so many drops in that game.
He could stand to use more touch in some places, but also many drops last week were just ridiculous.
Holy fuck what is happening in Jacksonville?
How is Lawrence always at the top of this list every year?
feels Lawrence leads that every season by a lot lol

5th seems low. I’d love to know exactly what metric they are using since the picture says something about air yards and expected YAC. Since the total is around 19 points and I can think of at least 4 dropped TD passes in the past 3 weeks I don’t feel this is actually looking at real throws, just drops and expected yardage on those drops vs an average yards per TD/FG drive.
Jacksonville should just run the ball?
Yeah, about 80-85% of that is OZ. Burden needs to be WR3 immediately, and honestly Jahdae Walker could even be in the conversation for WR4 in the near future
