Yes, he’s the best corner we’ve had since Samuel. But in saying that, we’ve had some pants corners in that time, been our weakest area.

22+ years ago the eagles had the Troy Vincent & Bobby Taylor cornerback duo that contributed to one of the best defenses in my opinion.
Lito Sheppard was also a CB with Troy and Bobby in 2002, 2003 seasons with Dawkins at safety. Pretty loaded defense.

Q and Coop are the best modern corners the team has had and they both already have a ring.
Small sample size but he’s maybe the best. Eric Allen would be the only one that could be better. I know that it’s crazy to say but he’s better than Asante, Lito, Bobby, Troy and Sheldon and he’s doing it under rules that are much more favorable to offensive players than when those guys played.
Nb – I’m saying he’s more shutdown. I don’t know if he’ll ever be a ball hawk type corner.
I find it crazy teams keep testing Q. He’s traveling with guys, so I get the scheme is probably to go to that guy, but I’d be throwing at safeties and Adoree 100% of the game regardless of scheme.
Lito was def overrated. Sheldon was by far better. No one through his way so he never had the stats.
If Q can start picking off these passes, OC’s will hesitate to throw over there. They don’t fear a turnover against him.
While I think he is better than Slay, the first couple years here he lived up to his name big play. Other than that easily our best in 15 years. Would like to see him come up with some INTs a bit more, that would be the difference between him now vs first team all pro or a defensive MVP.

Wild to me he hasn’t had a regular season interception yet, he had 2 last playoffs. Definitely think he could be in legends status as time goes on.
