  1. Glad he’s using this to get the rust off rather than meaningful games. This just means it was a good decision.

  2. Garbage in the g league 😔

Man they gotta get that damn brace off asap it’s clearly a huge hinderance to him

  3. He missed so much time with a lower body injury, then got the finger injury. Anyone who has been watching this team for years knows we don’t have a realistic chance to win the chip unless Joel returns to prime form and stays healthy which has very low odds.

Jared should be given as much time to recover and get his shot, stamina, confidence, and real speed reps back.

Jared is apart of our long term future, unless we look primed to start making noise in the playoffs, no need to rush him.

  4. Good. He needs the minutes to get back into shape, and getting those minutes in an NBA game is clearly a liability. Hopefully he eventually comes back to where he was last season and continues to grow from there.

  5. It completely sucks that he isn’t immediately back in form,, or that he hasn’t even really shown a glimpse of what he was capable of last year…

But why i’m not worried,, he showed incredible basketball IQ last year which doesn’t just dissapear, and he works extremely hard…. So in my conclusion, it’s simply his body that is our of condition and isn’t letting him do 95% of what he is capable of…

I think it’s a great idea to keep him with the Bluecoats where he can get as many minutes as he needs with zero pressure, until he feels like himself again.

I’d rather that than him getting minutes with the main team and it fucking with his head when he isn’t up to par.

  6. Definitely looking rough right now, hopefully he’s back to last year’s level in a few weeks

  7. All good! He will work out the kinks and get more confident. Then it’s back to killing it!
