I love what Willie did for our culture after Gentry and Van Gundy etc but if Dumars wants to do the bare minimum in starting to win this fanbase over he needs to hire us a smarter basketball coach before the play-in becomes out of reach. I’m tired of seeing us chucking at the end of the shot clock constantly before being scored on 7 seconds later. We’ve had multiple close games that were winnable with better coaching.

This to me comes off as Gayle having Dumars shoulder the blame. So if Dumars has all the power to make the coaching decision, how many more games does he need to asses that Willie is no longer the man for the job?
The team is 2-9. Willie should’ve been gone after the 0-6 start. They’ve only beaten the Hornets and a Mavs team that is a mess right now. They got the Lakers, Warriors, OKC, and Nuggets over the next four games.
Just part ways with Willie & give Borrego a chance. I mean he may not be the dude either long term, but as of now the team literally has nothing to lose so may as well change it up for the rest of the season.
Joe is learning what Nico Harrison and Michael Cohen have already learned. When you carry water for billionaires you get thrown under the bus.

Let’s face it Gale hired Dumars to take bullets for ownership. It’s way past time to move on no matter how good of a person WG is. Dumars said it’s about results and being 2-9 about to be 2-10 is just not acceptable. Setting a record for losing by 30 points to start a season is not acceptable.
