AL mvp – voting breaking down .

  1. This was a dam close race, Dumpers season was special. Would have been cool to see him win but fully expected to see Aaron win.

  2. Very close and maybe one of the strongest 2nd best finishes ever.  I’m glad the voting was close.  Judge had an unassailable statistical case and Raleigh had the best ever catcher hitting season I’ve ever witnessed.

  3. Well deserved sorry but as much as I love cal and his story and his hard position judge hitting 50+ homers will hitting over .330 is crazy and lead over cal at almost every stat. If cal had a bit more stats over judge then u can play the narrative card of him being a catcher and switch hitter

  4. I do not understand this graphic. How does Skubal’s one 3rd place vote equal 139 points and Witt’s 9 equal 215?

  5. I expected Raleigh to win based on the narrative all season long but … here we are

Jose Ramirez is a HOF by the way

  6. 13 voters valued a handful more home runs over 17 other hitting categories that Judge beat him. I like Cal but his defense was much less this season. He had a great season. Judge had a season for the ages.

  7. Why do 30 random writers get to decide who the MVP is? This shit should be voted on by the players.

  8. I wanna say Dumper got robbed.. but he didn’t. I just really wanted him to win. lol. Judge’s numbers are bonkers and he absolutely deserved to win another MVP.

  9. People here are acting like Cal Raleigh blew the doors off Judge in HRs…. He hit 7 more while hitting 90 points worse in BA, 100 points worse in OBP, and slugging 100 points lower.
