Uh I feel like that’s you know you really brought the team together. Uh you know you guys see the part on the ice but of the ice it’s been great and uh that’s kind of like the first step for us to be great on the ice. This is the second game in a row where you guys have scored a goal within the first minute. How big is that for your group and kind of setting the momentum for a game? I think it’s nice when the other team has to chase and uh just you know we just keep playing our game. We playing good defensively. you know, so much on here that we’re going to get, you know, chances offensively. So, uh, yeah, definitely helps. For you, how, you know, obviously you’re settled in here and everything, but your game really seems to be clicking to start this year. How are you feeling? Yeah, feeling good. Obviously, the schedule now has been, it’s been tough, but, uh, feel like we’re battling through. Uh, we played some tough opponents and, uh, you know, it’s nice to get these wins and, uh, you know, have have a good vibe here and, uh, just keep it roll. How difficult is it to balance between starting fast and potentially letting off the letting off the gas later on in the game? I don’t think we can let out the gas. I think if you start well uh you know if you’re even if you don’t start well you you still you know uh give your best and wasting energy. So might as well make it count and uh whenever you know you’re up in the first period it’s always good. This game was definitely a different tempo than last game. What are you taking from this game kind of compared Uh I don’t I don’t know if it looked like it. I didn’t it didn’t feel like it, but um you know, both teams are really good offensively. Uh on the defensive side, you know, we know that if we’re going to good play good D against these teams, uh we’re going to get out of chances offensively and that was just two similar games. What can you say about Gavin Brinley and the way he’s been playing? Yeah, I think he’s been great. Obviously deserve the contract and uh you know, happy for him. Great guy. Uh he’s still young so his upside’s huge. On a similar note, how about Scott Wedgwood signing that extension this morning? Yeah, it feels like everyone’s signing extensions which which is great cuz they have a great team here. So, uh you know, just get locked up everyone. Just how are you feeling your third start? You’re starting to feel a little bit more comfortable, more like yourself. Yeah, I mean uh every time I play feel a little bit better. I mean, obviously tonight, couple bad breaks, like pretty frustrated with the way it started, but, you know, happy to be able to kind of slow it down in the second half and just uh kind of steady it out and find a way to come out with two points. But yeah, like you said, my body feels good. Uh just need some minutes just to get my mojo back and uh every game I play, I feel a little better. So, is it nice to have a game like this where it felt like the goals were coming pretty quickly to kind of overcome that that slow start in the first? Uh, I mean that’s, uh, makes your job a little easier when, you know, you got a little bit of, you know, buffer room. Not that you want it, but, uh, you know, like a team like this, you know, they’re usually going to score three, four goals every night. So, uh, you know, if you make a mistake, they’re going to bail you out. So, tonight they did that for me. Can you rate it like uh out of a 100? Like where where you’re at, where you physically feel like you’re at physically? Well, 100. Yeah, pretty much. M mentally and like mentally Yeah, everything is good. I just my game I just need minutes and and reps and get the timing back. But it’s coming very close. Is it just kind of a matter of confidence at this point in time to just really getting I wouldn’t say I wouldn’t say it’s confidence. It’s just Reed’s just not overplaying underplaying just being with the flow of the play at all the time. So, uh yeah, just timing. Curious to hear your thoughts on the Scott Wedgewood deal today. Uh 10 out of 10. Scotty’s a a great teammate. Everybody in here loves him. He’s been playing amazing. So, I mean, we’re so happy for him and uh we’re happy that he’s going to be sticking around another year. Speaking of contracts as well, Gavin Brinley gets one recently, too. I mean, just how much fun is that to watch from your place on the ice? He’s played amazing. Uh I’m very impressed with him, but I uh I guess I shouldn’t be surprised he’s got a little Thunder Bay in him. How tough is it to I mean, you said you need minutes to get out there, but Scott’s playing so well that it’s a little tougher to get those minutes. Like, how do you have to kind of I just have to take my chances and make the most of them when I get them. I mean, I’m going to get chances to play. Scotty’s played great, but the schedule is demanding and there’s going to be times where I need to play right now. So, um, every chance I get, I’m just going to hopefully keep rolling and stringing them together. How do you feel the t of music being played after these last two wins? Tough. I I No, I I mean, I hate to admit it, but I actually like the song. No, it’s great. Why do you hate to admit it? Come on. Uh, I just I’ve never really been a Taylor Swift fan, but now I can say that song, I’m turning the corner. Whose call was the song? Kel’s. Kel’s picks all the the songs after the game.
