what are the odds chevy still tries to find a 2C when the time comes if things continue trending how they are.. im not getting excited
Its funny that Toews stats are that bad. Granted he was invisible in Seattle last night but I have seen him win lots of puck battles behind the net and make really dangerous passes that his wingers seem surprised about and dont know how to finish. I know analytics are telling us he’s bad but I cant help but wonder if his linemates are part of the problem.
Also, about your suggested bottom 9, why not just swap Barron and Toews? i feel like Barron is the most dynamic forward not on the top line and I dont think it would be terrible to try him out there and let Toews just win faceoffs on the 4th
