  1. I’d always grab like ten, do one seriously, then spend the rest of the game punching out the chad in different patterns, usually swear words.

  2. So what’s the deal with the write-ins? You just wanted to vote for 4 outfielders? I would’ve been using that for Mike Fontenot or something.

  3. Granderson had a long career. I only remember him as a member of the Mets in the middle 2010s.

  4. Blast from the past – Felix Pie. Player I still remember being hyped up by the cubs broadcast crew before called up and being completely underwhelmed.

  5. How your ballot did:

Starters: Pujols, Jeter, Rodriguez, Mauer, Ramirez

    Reserve: Tejada, Wright, Martin, Ortiz

Didnt Make It: Kent, Beltran, Church, Lee, Konerko, Roberts, Guerrero, Rios, Gomes, Griffey Jr

  6. Probably best you didn’t send—couldn’t bring yourself to vote for one player from the eventual champs? Tisk tisk

  7. JFC I know I’m old because I know all the guys on this ballot but hardly any of the guys you all talk about on here.

  8. That was the year 8 Cubs players got picked and the hope-ium was high, just to watch that team shit the bed in 3 games getting out scored 20-6.

  9. Wow, I can’t believe I forgot about these. What a great flashback, thanks for sharing.

  10. Man so many outfielders with the wrong teams. Griffey jr. on the reds, alou on the Mets, Jim Edmonds on the padres and Soriano on the cubs. Damon on the Yankees. I also don’t remember tigers legend Miguel Cabrera playing outfield for the Yankees. Am I taking crazy pills?

  11. Why did you choose Ryan Church? Haha

Loved seeing Wright and Beltran picked! Surprised Reyes wasn’t one there!

  12. Oh this takes me back. My parents were part of a season ticket group back then. Every time we went I grabbed hundreds and used a skinny Bic pen to mass vote for Russell Martin. Spent so much stupid time online revolting for that over and over. I remember I did some basic calculations and I alone was like 0.01% of his votes or some shit like that lol. Was very proud of my efforts.
