Didn’t realize how bad our injuries on defense were

  1. Are they that bad?Two bona fide starters in Highsmith and Elliot, Holecombe is just your run of the mill, two down backer, and slay stinks…. I don’t really think we’re worse off than most teams are by this point, are we?

  2. Slay is totally washed, highsmith should be 2nd string behind Herbig… this looks fine corner is a problem but when isn’t it. Better than most. No excuses. I can virtually guarantee Flacco will cook them like a Christmas goose again Sunday, but this injury report won’t be the reason why.

  3. Im glad Jabrill Peppers is back. But i’m gonna aslo need career games out of PWilson & Herbig this sunday. Gotta put little brother bungles down.

    Gahnta.

  4. The only one that really matters is Elliott though. Highsmith always misses games and we have good, sometimes arguably just as good if not better depth.

  5. We need to trade highsmith while we can. Dude always hurt and we can possibly get some decent picks for him

  6. Right it could be a lot worse, every position outside CB has vets behind them with plenty of on field experience.

  7. How does that explain how bad the offense has been? Over half the teams in the league can put up lists like this on one side of the ball or the other. How many excuses can middling teams give when it goes for a decade or more at a time?

  8. 6/8 of those players are irrelevant.  You have it completely backwards… None of our stars are injured and only two of our tier-2 starters are out without being on IR… Most teams would absolutely be thrilled about this.

  9. I’m very sad about Trice. Really thought he and Porter could hold down our corners for the foreseeable. He really is Mr. Glass.
