The defense (in terms of guarding) was an issue, but not the biggest. Our offense was shaky against the zone, but it also not the biggest issue.
The bigger problem is rebounding. They’re getting DOUBLE-digit more possessions than us
Think about it this way: I shoot 5/10 from the field, but my opponent shoots 6/20. Even though they shoot worse, they still win because they’re winning the possession battle. If we were even close in rebounding, we would have won this game in my opinion.
This is where we miss Bam.
Having another guy capable of scoring 30+ in Norm is going to really open things up for us when Tyler and Bam get back. Need to get everyone together ASAP so we can start working towards the goal.

Unlucky, good effort but having a 100million dollar hole in your lineups is hard to make up for, look forward to seeing Bam & Herro back with Powell playing this well & other guys not being overtaxed.

There needs to be a Rozier resolution. It’s insane that the Heat are being punished and being put at a competitive disadvantage because his salary still counts against the cap.
The pace is great when we can play some defense and hold teams. Sucks though when the other teams have better shooters and hustles more.
terrible effort from the whole squad. i’m usually not too critical but man our young guys were not good. Ware kept getting out positioned, Jovic is a jack of all trades but isn’t really good at one thing. Pelle was nice though. we’ll get them next game.
Copy everything said about the cleveland game (rebounds, lack of bam, only one solid consistent shooter at times), paste it here and you have the same takeaways. Holy FUCK spo PLEASE do some long rebounding drills. If the ball goes more than 7 feet out we do not get it, it’s an offensive board. We get like 3 more of those this game we walk out of msg with a win.
