Crazy stat of the day

  1. 14 points away from 3-6.

Edit: Not trying to be a hater, but these point differential conversations always have a flip side.

  2. While true….they’re also 5 from 5-5.

They are 5-3-1 realism is approach I’m taking. Very much in the picture. Gotta fix some problems, but are capable of doing so.

  3. get a new kicker. have love throw the fucking ball. boom 9-0. updating my linkedin maybe they’ll see

  4. Further to this idea that the difference between mediocrity and high performance is marginal, I do feel like there were seasons with Rodgers under centre where we’d win 9/10 of those games that came right down to the wire.

I know thats a QB experience thing to a degree.

EDIT: Apparently yes to the above in 2021, where the Packers were in six games decided by 3 points or less, and won five of those. Went 13-4 (good for equal first in the NFC), but were 16 points away from going 8-9 and missing the playoffs.

EDIT EDIT: OMG you’ll never guess which other season featured lots and lots of 3 point losses

  5. Technically we needed either a touchdown in the games we lost by 3 and a field goal against the cowboys because 4 points isn’t possible. So if we were a minimum of 21 points from all those wins, barring safeties happen of course but even if we got points from safeties every game we would still need 17 points.

  6. With missed or blocked FG’s in each game listed. One of which DAL returned for a safety on a blocked extra point (a full 3 point swing)

  7. Maybe if they had a kicker that could actually make field goals and isn’t still injured………..

  8. Packers aren’t going anywhere, Love is not the answer and all LaFleur does is spew the same hollow bullshit excuses week after week! He’s in over his head and he knows it. Rodgers made him who and what he is, just another NFL coach!

  9. Lets nicely ask Roger Goodell if we can transfer 13 points from our week 1 Lions victory to these 4 games so that we can be 9-0. I don’t think its an unreasonable request and he might go for it.

  10. And quit trying to blame LaFleur and Love. We are blessed to have them! Supported and defend and relax!!!

  11. The 2010 super bowl winning Packers never trailed by more than 6 points all season (or was it 7, IDK). Similar energy?

  12. God stop this stupid ass view of points away from 9-0. This team has some major fucking problems regardless of their record and they aren’t going anywhere in the playoffs unless they fix them.

  13. I am old man now in my mid 30s but these kinds of conversations are so pointless. You either win or lose everything else is just fodder. We are the record we are and they need to improve imho

  14. In 2010, the Packers had a long IR list including their star TE, and didn’t lose a game by more than 7 points. Also 27. Just saying.

  15. This isn’t a stat. Just shows we aren’t winning close games or closing out the way a winning team should.

  16. Yeah which shows how not clutch we are. If we were and had better play calling/decisions/special teams we’d be good. But that what separates the hood team from the meh teams. A complete team effort. Unclutch teams don’t win come playoff time. I love Love but he needs help.
