I cant tell who’s supposed to be worse…
He was a rookie with a worse team than 5th year fields has now. I’d honestly rather have Zach than fields at the moment
How many yards is justin fields on pace for? I’m curious what is the lowest from a 13-14 game starter.
The fact Wilson had more rush Y/A tells me all I need to know.
It’s a testament to how good the 2023 Jets would have been that they finished 7-10 with Zach Wilson. The defense single handedly won them so many games.
Never4get screaming at my TD every time the defense would get a critical turnover, just for Wilson to go 3 and out in the redzone. They literally beat the Eagles 20-14 with no offensive touchdowns. 2 pick-6’s and 2 field goals.

Never forget how bad Zach Wilson was. 3 and outs pretty much the whole game every game, never scored any points, barely ever even made it over midfield in games. Then there would be the super rare game where he’d show up and we looked good.
That being said, Fields is terrible too. If he’s not running, we aren’t moving the ball.
We know what Tyrod Taylor is. Let’s give Cook a few starts.
I always feel like Sacks/Sack yards should be included in these.

If you hold the ball and take zero chances, never throw it out of bounds when a play breaks down, it’s higher. Just so dumb.
I’m convinced that you can’t tell how good a Jets draft pick is until they’re on the next team. I wish Zach nothing but the best, knowing how dogshit of a start he got.
Need to stop looking at the individual level. It’s a team sport.

Fields’ biggest advantage over Zach is his ability to take off and run. Defenses have to at least think about that with Fields, which theoretically should create more passing lanes that a competent passer could take advantage of.
Idk if it’s worth arguing who is worse. All this tells me is they’re both terrible.
They both suck. Fields has more downside though. Neither one is getting you a winning record.
