Gayle, you hired Joe Dumars who has not been in a front office in over a decade (because he sucks) without any process or interviewing a single other candidate. And in that process, our actually qualified GM (Bryson Graham) left to go to another organization and immediately fleeced us of what is going to likely be a top 5 pick in one of the best draft classes this century. If your role is to hire the best people you can then you have MISERABLY failed, or you are delirious.

She couldn’t even take the time to fake the interview process with other candidates. She had to have Big Joe. Next thing you know she will get all crazy and hire someone like Stan Gundy as head coach.

No Dumars, no Fears and Queen. Have an original thought for once in your life. My original thought is spending next years pick the year prior was a great idea after Queens performance thus far. Don’t hold that against him one bit. We can agree over Willie still on the sidelines being totally frustrating though.
There is nothing of value to this assessment. We obviously do not like the Dumars hire, so if everything Gayle does falls back to that, then from the fan perspective she can do literally nothing of value outside of firing the FO so there’s no reason to critique anything she does until then.
