At work earlier this year someone made the RIP joke and a younger guy there thought Wade Boggs was a fictitious character and it was just a funny joke.
He never knew he was a real baseball player. Only knew him from the always sunny joke. Never watched always sunny, he was too young when it was popular.
He’s never met someone named Wade so he thought the name was a fake joke name, like a fake baseball sounding name.
Was a tough day at the office lol
