Yeah, man. It’s meant a lot. Yeah. Uh it’s kind of tough, you know, especially with a new team and you can’t get a win at the beginning of the season and finally we got it. So, I’m so happy and proud of these guys. We got like huge milestones tonight and just happy to be part of that. You’ve been playing well during during those starts. Just what’s the mindset like of trying to just pushing through knowing that eventually the result is going to come? Yeah, kind of like the simple, you know, like keep keep it working and just just waiting. It’s it’s going to come in anyway. And you know, we play like outstanding tonight. It was kind of kind kind of tough at the first period. Yeah, we we’re back from the California trip and we just get it our legs going and we like show it our like the best in the third, you know, score like the big goals and like show the good result. A lot of action tonight for you, right? Yeah. To catch your breath too often. Uh, well, sometimes, you know, but it’s good. It’s good when you got some a lot of work, you know, you’re all the time in a game and you’re like, “Fuck it.” And you got like really good confidence, you know, and build it on. So, it was good game. Fred Marin gets 1,000 points from your perspective. How cool was that moment to celebrate in the middle? and you know it’s like he joined like elite club you know and we’re so proud of him and we’re so happy for him and he’s his family you know it’s not everybody can touch this you know thousand points in NHL so it’s just awesome yeah I mean that’s pretty incredible I’ve I’ve never been a part of it so um it’s it’s a nice number um you know and he’s it doesn’t look like he’s slowing down anytime soon so um you know, couldn’t happen to a better guy. So, um you know, it’s a tough number to get. I I don’t know the number of amount of guys that have done it, but um you know, it’s going to be pretty cool to see the next couple years. What do you can get that to with him sitting on 199 empty now? What was the mood like on the bench? I’m sure you guys were just kind of It was good. We almost got to celebrate it twice. Um you know, I don’t think he knew that they uh that they changed the one in the second. So, um, unfortunately had to break the news to him, but, um, like I said, there’s only been a a handful of guys that have got a thousand twice. It’s it’s probably him, Wayne, and, um, so it’s pretty cool. And just a little bit about you guys getting the win. You guys back home, and you guys have been really really good here, eh? Uh, yeah. I mean, you know, it’s it’s it’s it’s obviously nice to it. It it seems like it’s been a hot second since we’ve had a couple um in a row. So, it’s nice to get another effort. I I Terry was incredible, especially early um you know, early in the game, then early in the third. Um you know, they had a few pushes that that that he was there and was able to shut the door for us and um you know, we were able to hold on to it. So, uh this is a big big home stand for us. A lot of tips, a lot of goals around the night. How are you able to kind of generate that chaos tonight that you guys like to do? I mean, that’s the only way you’re going to create against a team like that. I I mean, especially when we’re going up against him, there’s not much room for anybody out there. Um, it’s it’s it’s always going to be tough making plays in a game like that when when both teams check so well. So, um, the simpler you can play, the better off and and more opportunities you’re going to get. Uh, you know, kind of hoped it would it would be tonight. just uh had the family here and um you know I think all that little bit of chatter and it’s nice to do it at home too. So um yeah, you know it doesn’t matter how it gets done. It just was fun to fun to be part of. It seems like everything you’re touching right now either going in the net or heading towards the net. Oh yeah. Everything I touched went in our net tonight. it uh not a great game, but um you know, we’re just we’re obviously a deep team and and Lenny and Lucy and I have have a good chemistry, so we enjoy playing together and um you know, we all benefit from that. Guys have been talking about a thousand points. Obviously, it’s an individual milestone, but when the whole team is pushing for you, do how much do you feel that? Yeah, it’s exciting. I I got to be part of it uh with Berson and then on the other side when uh um Joerger hit a huge milestone here, I think maybe became second all time. Um, and it’s just you don’t get to be part of things like that very often. I mean, I didn’t know the stats tonight, but there’s only 102 guys that have done it and and you know, it’s just they’re cool moments I think in guys career that uh we all enjoy. I mean, we all um care a lot about each other in here and are very happy for each other when they have success, you know, and same with Jonesy and and uh Hot Rod tonight. Like, we’re we’re always happy for the next guy to have success and and uh we all celebrate together. So, um, it feels pretty incredible to be part of a group that that, uh, you know, enjoys each other as much as we do and and as close as we are and, um, you know, it makes these moments that much more special. So many of those points were in Boston. What do you think the folks up there celebrating it tonight? I would think. Yeah, I think there, you know, in this game, um, you know, you grow connection with guys that enjoy watching and, you know, I I’m I’m a fan of the game. I feel the same way when I when I watch guys and I play against them. Um it’s exciting to see what guys can do and and uh you know when you love the game um you enjoy all the aspects of it. So I’m sure the fans are excited enjoying as well. With the way your career started uh if we would have told you a thousand points down the road believe no definitely not. I I had a conversation with um you know some of the management in Boston or scouts um early on in my career and they said if you can get to 400 games that’s a that’s a good NHL career. you know, it’s one to be proud of and and that was my marker. You know, that was what I was chasing for so long. And then, you know, it just when you follow guys that I got to follow in Boston and you see the way they they carry you day in and day out, you know, it doesn’t become about, you know, milestones like that, it’s more about the next day and trying to just get better and better and better and and and the way that kind of amounts. Um, you know, it just the longer you spend doing that, you know, years and years they they compound. um you know and you can play for a while and and good things start happening and remember a couple years ago I looked and it was 800. I couldn’t believe I I had that many and you know I kind of started chasing it from that point. But yeah, you know, it’s it’s it’s exciting. Um it’s something I’m I’m definitely proud of and um hopefully there’s many more. And a pretty nice crew you’re with right now. 12 active players. Oie Sid’s in there, Big David. Bunch of Yeah. Yeah. 11 more. Couple Halifax boys. um you know they uh they they make fun of me a lot that I wasn’t in that club. So um nice to join them for sure. But no, there’s a lot of like I said there’s a lot of incredible players that that we have the pleasure of playing against every night and and uh uh being fan of the game. It’s fun to see what they can do and and the success that they’re having. Um you know and I think that’s why hockeyy’s growing to where it is right now because guys can do remarkable things. of the hundred of the 102 guys that have hit the thousand points, only five are from Nova Scotia, for you to be one of the five guys from your province that hit that milestone. Just how does that feel? Yeah, we have a lot of pride uh coming from where we do. Um you know, a lot of growing up, a lot of the other province kind of overlooked us in in the games that we played and different competitions and stuff and and we always felt like we had something to prove. Um, you know, there’s there’s more and more guys coming out of uh Nova Scotia to become really good players and uh it’s great to see, you know, we we get back in the summertime. We push each other very hard and um there’s a lot of pride um when we compete on the ice together and and we have success together. So, it’s uh it’s fun to be from there for sure. Brad, uh how do you feel like you know playing in the same line within and Lindell, both guys from uh Finland? Yeah. Yeah, they’re they’re incredible. uh very they’re both underrated. I’m I’m really happy for them that they’re getting a lot of recognition the last uh you know last year and a bit and um I remember playing against them and and I did not enjoy playing against them. They’re they’re very competitive guys, very good defensively. Uh very sneaky offensively, but uh you’re seeing they’re they’re getting a lot more confidence right now and making a lot of big plays. Lenny and Lucy both had a big night tonight. Um you know, and and they play all the big minutes. You know, they play PPK um throughout their last minutes. So very responsible and great players. Nice of Lucy to give you this puck. Yeah. Yeah, it is. I uh I’ll sure have to buy him dinner or something. Thank you, Brad. It was awesome. It was special. Um you know, we’re a tight group in here and uh he’s had an amazing career so far and it feels like he’s got a lot left in the tank the way he’s playing for us this year. So uh that was pretty cool. Um you know, he has kids in here and uh pretty special moment. What does he meant to this group? Oh man, I I think it’s a lot more than, you know, obviously his play has been great for us last year in the playoffs and and this year so far, but I think off the ice, he just brings uh so much energy to our room. Uh he’s a vocal leader. He leads by example uh every single day and uh he just brings life and and energy. So um in a long season that’s necessary and uh he’s always there for that. In addition to Brad, you get 100 goals. Rody 100 goals, Terasoft’s first win. Just a lot of pucks, a lot of pucks go around in the Amazon. Yeah. Right. Um, I think me, Rody, and Forzy have a long way to go. Maybe another 13 years to get to 1,000 points, but um, yeah, pretty cool night for everybody. Um, 100 goals is pretty cool for Rody. 200 points for so uh, nice milestones around for you, too. Sure. What does it mean to score 100 goals for yourself? Um yeah, I mean I always try to be a threat um and contribute offensively um over the years and uh it’s nice to to get to that point uh and and keep doing it, you know, uh shooting on the power play of course tonight. Uh one went in with a good screen in front. What can you say about what Danny did for you guys in that tonight? Just a huge huge save. Oh, he was a rock. He was a rock tonight. Uh every single big save we needed. We turned a couple pucks over in the neutral zone, in the defensive zone, breaking out and he was right there standing solid. Uh made some massive saves throughout the game. when Brad was sitting on 999 empty net. Was there any talk about what was going on on the bench? Were you guys going to feel it coming? We talked about it before the game. We got to go out there for him. Um so when he passed to Lucy, Lucy actually missed one. Was it last game? Where were we last game? Vegas. I think he missed a couple in 10ers last game. So, uh he got the one tonight when he needed it. You guys, uh first game of like 11, next 12 at home. Just how important was it to start this long stretch at home with a night like tonight? Yeah, we’ve been a pretty good team at home this year. Um, we fed off the energy from our crowd very well. And so, um, tonight, you know, it’s been a struggle to score goals as of late, uh, as we all know. But tonight, it was nice to get some of the power play, some 515, um, and really get to our game, uh, early from that long West Coast trip. So, uh, we got to take this, use this to our advantage, uh, how long we’re at
