There’s something FISHY going on with this Chiefs player…

So, what the heck is going on with Chiefs quarterback Christian Fulton? And could they potentially be packaging him in a trade prior to the deadline? So, Christian Fulton signed a 2-year, $20 million deal with the Chiefs this off seasonason. Needed a knee cleanup procedure and missed most of OTAAS’s, most of training camp, and a lot of preeason, but was starting to work back into the routine, get into the swing of things. and he hurt his ankle. Week two, was out multiple games, came back healthy, was a full participant at practice, but has been a healthy scratch the last two weeks. Well, you have Trent McDuffy, Jaylen Watson in the third round rookie null Williams out of Cal. He’s doing a great job, and I think he is exceeding expectations, which is a good thing. But what if Christian Folson was used to be packaged in a trade for a defensive lineman? because the Chiefs have had multiple guys placed on IR with the most recent being defensive tackle Omar Norman Law after tearing his ACL in the Raiders game. Well, to further confuse me, they signed quarterback Kevin Nolles from the practice squad to the active roster today to take up the roster spot left behind by Omar Norman Lot. So, I’m sitting here wondering, well, is there an injury to the quarterback room we don’t know about? Kevin Nolles would primarily be playing special teams. Maybe the Commanders were trying to poach him this week, so they signed him. talking about the Chiefs to the active roster so they couldn’t get him and get anything out of him prior to playing each other on Monday Night Football. I’m honestly not sure and I’m a little torn on the situation. If you could use Christian Fulton to get an absolute playmaker along the Dline, I’m not opposed to the idea, but I think depth is a very valuable thing. Look at Jaylen Moore since Josh Simmons is away from the team dealing with personal issues. Jaylen Moore has stepped up and been a great asset for the O line. So, what would happen if somebody got hurt in the cornerback room? Christian Fulton would then be the next man up. And considering the injuries they had in that room last year, I think that might be more valuable to me than trying to leverage him in a trade. Don’t get me wrong, I still think they need a defensive lineman, but I don’t know if you have to trade Christian Folton in a way to get it

  1. Ok great point Cole, but I would counter. What has Fulton actually done? As you said he’s been a healthy scratch, a pretty expensive healthy scratch at that. We either need him rotating in behind the starters or get some kind of asset in return though I think if he’s healthy we should rotate him in behind the starters we all saw what happened when Jaylen williams or Watson got hurt last year I forget which one it was

  4. Considering Fulton hasn't really played, the Chiefs will not get an NFL caliber starter in a trade unless the Chiefs include a very good player as well. The only thing I can think of is Hollywood Brown.

  6. We definitely don't have to. The NFL is dealing players some fit some don't and you just never know. I trust Veach he's right more than wrong. All chessboard pieces. 20 million might be better for a different person.

  7. Knowles just there as a special teams player since they can't elevate him anymore. All of the d-line will just be active for now, and they can bring up a DT from the practice squad.

  9. You have to give to get. Frankly, If I was KC, I'd be finding out what we can get for Hollywood Brown, especially if Royales is ready to contribute or if they think they can get more from Thornton. One thing is for sure, KC needs defensive line help and ideally an upgrade. That pass rush is barely better than pathetic.

  25. Yes, I agree indeed, trade K. Fulton for a defensive player, much much needed ASAP‼️‼️💯♥️💛🏈 With all the time Fulton has had off the field, he is NOT ballin’ that’s WORTH 10 million/year‼️‼️💲💲🏈💥
