🚨Chicago Bears Fans Get BREAKING NEWS Before NFL Week 11

All right, we got some breaking news on the injury front that we got to get into here on Chicago Bears. Now, my name is Harrison Graham. Appreciate everybody for tuning in. Now, in the second half of this video, we do have a mailbag episode that we already filmed, so stay tuned for that, but I do want to get to the injury notes here. We’ll get to Jaylen Johnson in a second. He did have his practice window opened uh today, so stay tuned for that. And as always, subscribe to the channel for daily content. But uh the Friday injury reports are out for both teams. Uh the only players ruled out for the Bears are Jott Walker who was limited today but guessing he has not fully uh cleared the concussion protocol. And then TJ Edwards did not practice again. Still dealing with that hand and that hamstring injury. So uh he is not going to practice. However, in a positive note, Jaquan Brisker was limited. He is listed as questionable. He said after practice, Scott Bear just tweeted this out that Brisker said he he expects to play on Sunday. Now, I’m guessing they’ll put him through a pregame workout and he’ll they’ll see how he comes out of it. But if he can play, that’s obviously huge because I think Brisker at times hasn’t played his best ball. I thought he played better last week than the two prior weeks, but he is still a improvement over Elijah Hicks or uh Jonathan Owens, I would say. Safe to say. So, um, it’d be nice to have him out there. Sounds like he’s going to try to give it a go. So, we’ll see, uh, if that is the case. For the Vikings, the only players ruled out, Jonathan Grenard, which is a big one, uh, their big-time pass rusher. Uh, and Ryan Kelly, who they, uh, their starting center, whose practice window was opened uh, this week. Uh, they are not going to activate him for this game. So, it’ll be Blake Brenell once again at the center position. JJ McCarthy not listed on the injury report. He is good to go. Now, the big news that dropped about an hour ago, I did a little YouTube short on it and I’ll dive more into it here, is that the Bears opened Jaylen Johnson’s 21-day practice window today. He was out there. They listed him as limited. Um, now he’s not going to play Sunday, even though technically he is listed as questionable. Now, I think that’s a technicality. I’m 99% sure because technically since he practiced, I don’t think they can rule him out. Now, you might say, “Well, what about John A. Walker?” Well, concussions are different. If he hasn’t cleared the protocol, then he can’t play. But, um, I do think that just since he was out there at practice, from a technicality standpoint, they can’t officially rule him out on the injury report. It would be stunning if he came back, practiced once in a limited capacity, and played two days later. I think they’re going to be cautious here. Ramp him up. I frankly don’t really expect him to play in week 12 against the Steelers either to be honest, but maybe he does. Maybe he has a great week next week and they activate him. I think more likely you’re looking at Black Friday, week 13 at the Eagles or week 14, December 7th, uh against the Green Bay Packers. I I think that’ll be one of the two games uh that Jaylen Johnson returns. But um Ben Johnson said today he’s healthy and now it’s about ramping him up. So, uh, these are really good signs regardless of when he returns. But don’t, you know, convince yourself he’s playing at 48 hours. I think that’s, uh, that is completely unrealistic. But, uh, the good news is is Jaylen Johnson is is healthy. He’s he’s going to start ramping up here and he’s probably back a week or two earlier than we thought. Uh, which is great news. And hopefully Kyler Gordon, uh, who could have his practice window open next week. Hopefully that happens. And who knows, maybe they both return the same week, week 13 against the Philadelphia Eagles. That would be uh that’d be awesome for this Bears football team. All right, that’s where things sit right now on the injury front. Stay tuned. We got a full mailbag episode to come here on Chicago Bears now where we take all of your questions. We’ll have a couple videos tomorrow, including our joint preview with Patrick Seatman, Bears Vikings. Uh did about a 25m minute breakdown with him. Whole lot of fun. So lock us in for that. Stay tuned. Mailbag straight ahead here on Bears Now. [Music] I’m Harrison Graham. This is Chicago Bears. Now it is mailbag time. We’ll start with Cardiac Bears. That’s fitting. What do the Bears have to do better offensively against Brian Flores’s defense this week? Because yeah, if you remember in week one, the Bears got off to a fast start straight down the field. Caleb was doing a good job getting through reads, getting back to the checkdown. Uh scrambled one in and you’re like, man, this team is off to the races. Then, uh what really stood out from there is two things to me. One, pre- snap penalties killed a bunch of drives. Uh it was an issue. We heard about it throughout training camp. Uh the reporting on that was strong. And the run game never got going, which was a theme the first month of the season. Well, since then, the Bears have run the ball a lot better. And while it’s still not perfect, the penalty stuff has improved notably the last two weeks against Cincinnati and especially against the Giants. So, if you have a cleaner operation and I don’t expect this team to rush for a buck 75 against Flores, but if you can find some more efficiency there and stay balanced, uh I think those two things will really, really help. I mean, in week one, outside of some Caleb scrambles, uh you only had 20 carries for 61 yards. Uh Kyle Manungai had zero carries in that game by the way. It was Swift 17 for 53 and then DJ Moore three for seven uh three for eight I should say. So you got to get more efficiency uh out of your running back crew. Obviously Manungai role has a role now. He did not then. And uh DeAndre Swift and the O line a better job as well. Uh so I think those are a couple of areas. Play cleaner and uh find more production out of your running game. Is this a mustwin for the Chicago Bears? Typewife for yes, type in for no. I don’t know if it’s a must-win, but if you lose, getting swept by this Vikings team, that’s that’s kind of a tough pill to swallow. Uh you let that game get away in week one. You kind of owe him one. Need to salvage a split here. So, must win. Maybe not quite, but pretty damn close, I’d say. All right, Gabriel, do you think we could make a trade for AJ Brown this off season? I don’t know. Why would you even want to? I mean, other than he’s an awesome player. I get it. But, okay, what are you trading for AJ Brown? Like a second and a fourth round pick or something like that. So, who are you which receiver are you getting rid of? I mean, don’t get me wrong, I think AJ Brown would be the best receiver on this team, but you have good receivers. Like, I I I if you’re going to make a big splashy trade, I think it would be for a pass rusher or like a left tackle or something like that. So, I I do not expect them to be in the AJ Brown sweep stakes. I do think AJ Brown gets traded, but I do not think that the uh the Bears will be the team that trades for him. All right, Mr. Big Fella 69. If Caleb has eight game-winning drives, is he the MVP there? I would I don’t think there’s anything Caleb could do to win the MVP uh at this point. Um, I guess if they won out, went 14 and three, and he went nuclear, sure, it could happen. But, um, I I I don’t think he’s he’s in that level yet. He’s making strides. He’s playing well. Um, I I I don’t think he’s going to be in the MVP race. Now, could he go on a heater and, you know, we look up at the end of the year and he gets a few votes and gets like seventh or something like that? Sure. But, I don’t think he can win the MVP this year. All right. Subscribe to the channel if you want free Bears content all year long. In season, off season, dead time of the year, busy time of the year, doesn’t matter. We’re bringing you videos every single day. In fact, I don’t think we’ve gone a full day without at least one video on the channel in like three or four years. So, we’re continuing to bust out content for you guys. So, show some love. Hit that subscribe button. It’s 100% free. Vernie, you see Cam Newton’s thoughts on the Bears? Yeah, he kind of put them in that fraud alert category. And look, some people think that’s what this team is, that they’ve beaten bad teams and they’ve lost to the good teams they’ve played. And there’s certainly some truth to that. I also think you can’t control the schedule there. I think there’s uh valuable things in finding ways to win, especially when you don’t play your best. So, look, we’re going to find out how good they are. I think this is a an above average to good team right now. If they go 500 or better the rest of the way with the rest of their schedule, they’re at least a pretty dang good team. Now, how good are they? Again, we’ll find out. Uh the rest of their schedule is pretty difficult. I think it’s the fourth hardest remaining schedule in the NFL. Uh Doodleb thoughts on moving DJ Moore in the offseason. I feel his uh production plus lack of enthusiasm doesn’t warrant a $30 million cap in maybe playing her but still concerning. Give the future to a Dunes Luther Burton. Well, I I’d push back on the enthusiasm thing. He’s been tough as hell this year. He’s played through injuries. Now, again, the production thing, is he worth the cap hit? Like, yeah, like that’s worth a conversation in the offseason. Right now, I’m glad he’s here. He has a role on this team. I still think there are games where he can have a bigger role a couple weeks ago against the Bengals. Thought he had a great game. He had 72 receiving yards and took that jet end around for a touchdown. So, he can still have games where he’s a big reason why this team’s winning. He still commands attention from opposing teams. So, uh, yeah, I mean certainly if Luther Burden finishes strong, if Adun has a strong finish, DJ Moore could be a guy they look to move in the off season, uh, especially if they’re looking to invest some money at a different position. But, um, you know, a lot of things factor into that uh, between now and then. Guys, this is a pretty awesome Caleb Williams t-shirt. The gamewinning touchdown run printed on this t-shirt. Bears win over the Giants. You want to pick it up? chatsports.com/caleb. I’ll say it one more time. chatsports.comcaleb shirt. That link is in the comments and in the description. Pick this bad boy up today. I might get one myself. All right, Captain CB, would you restructure sweat and more this off season? Um, probably not both because then you’re kicking kicking that money back down the road another year. Um, maybe one of those. If Montes continues to play really well, maybe you would consider him. If you do want to keep DJ another year, uh, you would consider that as well. I don’t think you would do both. Um, that just causes a lot of problems on the road. Like you see like Howy Roseman do this a lot, but like they’re in the Super Bowl mix every year. I don’t think the Bears are quite that yet. Uh, you know, if the Bears made the NFC Championship game or something, we can revisit this conversation. But, uh, I would probably say no to that because the problem when restructuring that is it kind of narrows your flexibility in certain ways. Ben, Bears have to go four and four these next eight. Do you think the struggles in the secondary is coaching or personnel or coaching? Not sold on DA yet. I mean, Deshawn Wright was your sixth corner when you signed him and he’s actually played decent. So, um, you know, Tyreek Stevenson’s very up and down. I I don’t think we can call his up and down nature a reflection of coaching. Like, he’s been up and down throughout his career now. Like, that’s kind of who he is. His good is really good. his bad is not very good. So, I think it’s on Tyreek to be more consistent. Uh, I’m not saying Dennis Allen has been an A++, but this team does not have great pass rushers and they have a beat up secondary. So, I think all things considered, he’s actually done a pretty good job. Also, the Bengals and the Lions game have inflated some numbers. Um, they got torched in those games obviously. Obviously, they all count, but uh considering the injuries, the personnel weaknesses in certain areas, T.J. Edwards has missed a bunch of time. Jaylen Johnson’s been out all year. Uh Terrell Smith has never played on this team under Dennis Allen. Uh TJ Edwards has missed, did I say him already? He’s missed half the se like you’ve had a lot of key guys out. Um yeah, I mean I again I’m not saying Dennis Allen has been the best DC in the league, but I think all things considered, he’s done a pretty good job. Predict the score. Bears, Vikings, who you got and what is the final score going to be? I got Bears 2723. What say you? Let us know in the comment section below. All right, Christian. Uh, when do you think the Bears ramp up Joe Trian Shawinka’s playing time? He played a I think a decent amount of snaps last week. I’d have to go back and check, but he’s going to be in the rotation just because you don’t have a ton of options. Now, Dominique Robinson, it appears he’s going to play this week. So, um, that could, uh, reduce his role a little bit, but he was brought here to mostly be a depth piece, and that’s what he is. If guys go down, his role will increase. If not, he’ll probably be in that 10 to 20 snaps a game. That that would be my guess, especially with Dom back. Shen Grapple, how high do you think Luther Burton, Coulson Love, and Kong ceilings are? Um, I think Coulson Lovelin can be one of the best tight ends in the league. I I really do. So, I don’t know. allp pro multi-pro bowl at least I think that’s his ceiling. Luther Burden I think can be a number one receiver in the NFL. Uh now whether he is or not on this team we’ll see. Roma Dunce is going to be here but I think he could be I don’t know top 10 receiver in the league. Again these are ceilings. Uh Kyle Manungai I think he can be a solid I think his ceiling is probably like is he a top 12 running back in the NFL? Top 15. He’s probably never one of these dominant backs. I think a more realistic scenario for him is like he’s a part of a one-two punch and the ceiling part of that is he could be the one in the one-two punch. Uh but I’m comfortable saying, oh, we’ve already seen it. He’s a good two in a one-two punch already as a seventh round rookie. So, it’s hard to estimate when these guys have played half an NFL season in their lives, but uh I think at minimum they’re all going to be very good players. And at maximum, especially Burden and Lovelin could be great players. I don’t know if Manung is ever great, but I think good. And listen, you got this guy in the seventh round, so uh yeah, I think that’s uh that’s all on the table. All right, guys. Good questions. Appreciate it. Uh if we didn’t get to you, I apologize, but you know where to find me. HFL, Twitter, Instagram. Give me a follow and slide into those DMs. Always down to talk some Chicago Bears football. So, hope to see you over there. Bear down. [Music]

  1. No radio host taking the Bears seriously. Damn. Says Vikings defense will crush them.

I gave my game plan. Attack sides of field avoid middle throws and long bomb air it out and Caleb run if lane open etc..
    Host says attack middle

  2. 31- 27 Bears. All the Caleb haters in my family and most of friends have been silent after arguing with me since last year that Caleb sucks and either worship Fields or Bagent. LFG ICEMAN #18…..

  3. DA is the man for this team when we are healthy I know we will be unstoppable. Look at what he’s doing with what we have.. Brady couldn’t even figure out his defensive sets

  4. Isn't it too early to say who could or couldn't be MVP. I agree it would be a Super Long shot for Caleb, but if they got healthy and went on to win the Super Bowl (Miracle), then yes he could be the MVP. probably a 2 % chance 🙂
