The New York Knicks Found Their SECRET WEAPON…

All right, guys. I’m just going to give you a heads up. It’s Friday night. I’m with my boys recording this video. I did drink, so I don’t want to come across as unprofessional or anything, but I’m going to give you guys my honest thoughts as a Knicks fan versus a creator in this one. So, the Knicks, they came off of a loss against the Magic a couple of the nights ago. Brunson ended up spraining his ankle. There was no hero. There was no Bam in this one. And to me, it was all about who wanted it more. And I was super impressed with the way that the Knicks came out of the gates. Carl Anthony Towns, I want to say, had 31 points at halftime. Landrew Sham ended up drawing the start and he was just an absolute sniper tonight, man. He also did a good job of getting to the free throw line and finishing through contact. To me, this was the most impressive win of the season. I really don’t care who the Knicks are playing. It’s more so of how they play. Like the ball’s moving, the Knicks are finishing. The defense in terms of the way they rotated, I don’t think it was the best tonight, but it was certainly good enough. And when you score, you know, 140 points in that area, like you’re going to win more often than not, no matter how you play defensively. Josh Hart did a very good job of attacking the basket. And the Knicks, they just silenced any sort of Miami runs. And male, he’s going to he fortunately did miss a pull-up jumper from about 16 ft away. But you you look at the Knicks and this season, guys, they’ve played a lot differently. The bench has been able to contribute a lot more. And it’s not the fact that they’re playing more guys. It’s the fact that Yaba uh the past couple of games has been able to come in and knock down some three balls. Jordan Clarkson has been awesome as he gets an offensive rebound and can’t get the put back. But the Knicks, they have a couple that guys off the bench including Duce McBride, Mitchell Robin. Well, Mitch Robinson’s a starter of course next to Cat now. But like the Knicks have a variety of guys that their skill sets, they just they match up with exactly what they’ve been missing. Like Mitch of course is healthy as of right now. Jordan Clarkson, his shot creating ability, his passing has honestly impressed me more than his playmaking. Yavas has not really played much, but whenever he comes in, he’s able to knock down threes. He’s done a good job rebounding the basketball. And Mike Brown, you could see he’s constantly just preaching, trusting in each other, and going above and beyond for those loose balls. And the Knicks, I mean, right now, of course, after this win, they’re going to go to eight and four on the season, 8-1 at home. Every single game the Knicks have won has been at home. Isn’t that crazy? Of course, they lost three road games and then they lost the one against the Magic. But the Knicks are just they’re just a better team, right? The Knicks are a better team right now than they were last year because last season I thought honestly there was a lot of positives, but when it came said and done, like they had to come back down 20 plus against the Celtics in the first two games to win that. The Pistons series was a little bit more closer than I would have liked, but I think this Knicks team is definitely destined for for greatness. they’re destined to do more and Mike Brown has just done a good job of putting in the things that were missing from this team last season and it certainly helped that they did go and get Jordan Clarkson who’s the best guy off the bench that they’ve had since J.R. Smith, at least in my opinion. But if Mitch can just stay healthy next to Cat and Cat can continue to be aggressive, you know, tomorrow obviously like when the night’s when the night’s over and I’m up and I’m sober, I am going to make a cat breakdown. And let me know if you guys like these types of videos because I don’t know if I sound dumb right now. I probably do. But you know, as a Knicks fan my entire life, I still want to get you guys content even though I know I don’t do it for a living or anything like that. But Carl Denny Towns, he just set the tone in the first half of this game. Like he ended up finishing overall. He’s got 36 right now, which means he only has five in the second half. But that doesn’t really matter because other guys were able to pick up the scoring and they were also doubling, you know, triple teaming Cat, so there’s not much he could do. But when you go out there and you drop 31 and a half without your top guy and Jaylen Brunson, it just sends an absolute message to the Heat that, hey, look, I’m here and you’re going to have to deal with me. And I wish that this cat showed up every single night because, you know, the Knicks, they haven’t had a one-two punch like this since, honestly, I’d probably say Walt, even Walt and and Earl the Pearl, I mean, that was a good duo, but like John Starks and Yuing were good, but Jaylen Brunson is a top five player in my biased opinion in basketball. You know, Cat’s an allNBA guy. like these two are certainly capable of winning a championship and there’s been rumors circulating about Anthony Davis potentially to the Knicks. I just think that’s ridiculous. You know, Cat is the guy that I believe in. Uh he’s going to score here. He’s at the free throw line. So, you know, take that 36 for a grain of salt. We’ll see if he knocks down his first free throw right here. Cat at the line taking his time. He does knock it down. So, it’s 136 to 127. But Cat is the type of player that was brought here to space the floor and to take pressure off of Brunson. As much as I like Randall, he wasn’t consistent. You know, Cat last season, guys, he was second in rebounding behind Sabonis. Of course, with his scoring ability, he gave the Knicks anywhere from 20 to, you know, 24 a night. And he just seems to be at his best when the Knicks call upon him. Like the one game of course that really stood out to me in the playoffs was game three of the Eastern Conference Finals where the Knicks trailed double digits of course in the second half and Cat had a miraculous third quarter. That was one of the greatest individual performances in the history of basketball and we’ve got to give Cat a lot of credit for what he did in that game. And you take a look at Cat going downhill. That should be a foul, potentially even a goend as Cat is going to get back to the free throw line. When Cat’s mindset is locked in to, hey, look, I’m going to find a way to win this game. I don’t care how I do it, but I’m going to elevate my teammates and when I need a bucket, I’m going to go do that. Like Cat, of course, he got that. It was like a deflection. He goes to the left corner, he knocks it down. You know, Cat’s aggressiveness is going to ultimately determine the Knicks season because Jaylen Brunson knows when to pick and choose his spots in his moments. And I want to see that out of Cat. Some nights that the Knicks are going to need Cat to rebound and to facilitate. Sometime the Knicks are going to need Cat to score 30 to 35. And tonight the Knicks needed him to do that. And I have so much faith in as Cat misses the first free throw, but I have so much faith in his ability to be able to do that. Now Cat is not a number one guy. But he doesn’t need to be cuz they’ve got Jaylen Brunson. But it’s not even about just Cat and Brunson. It’s about male. You know, I haven’t even mentioned this. OG Anobi, he ended up in this game playing two or he played in how many minutes was it? Uh, you know, OG ends up finishing the game in five minutes, guys. I think he had a hamstring injury. So the Knicks pull him. He doesn’t return. So all of a sudden, you know, the Knicks are without two of their stars. The Heat are without two of their stars. And you know, Cat just took it into his own hands. And also, we saw, of course, Clarkson feed off of it with That’s crazy. Clarkson got 32 minutes right now, 24 points. Man, maybe I might have to do a Clarkson film breakdown cuz I’ve been kind of waiting to do that. But again, guys, like it’s so rare in an NBA team where you have a six-man that can come in and give you that type of reduction. But Josh Hart really impressed me tonight, man, with his aggressiveness. He had 10 assists. He had uh that’s 33 minutes, guys. 10 rebounds and 12 points. So, Hart does finish with a triple double. My my apologies again. That’s why I gave you guys kind of a a warning at the beginning of this video because I know a lot of you guys are like, “Why didn’t you do this and that?” Man, I’m having a good time. You know, I love the Knicks. The Knicks are my life. But, you know, here and there, we’re going to go out and we’re going to have some fun and it’s a Friday night. You know, the Knicks are on. We’ll get a content out things like that. as Josh Hart throws it down with a two-and slam and does a pull up. Give him 12 on the night here. Five of eight from the field. But Lantry Sham had 36. Sham had 36. See, Sham was on one tonight with his three-point shooting, especially off of the dribble. That is crazy, man. I did not know Sham had 36 points in this game. Like, it felt like he had a good 2526. But wow. See, this is why this is my favorite game of the season, man. It’s one of those games where you watch it as a fan and you enjoy the moment and then once you have to get on the mic, it’s kind of like what do you even say? But it’s just this is the type of win that we’ll look back on in the end of the season and say that hey look, you remember that fun game on a random, you know, November 14th night where the Knicks just they went out there and they dropped, you know, 140 points against the Miami Heat. Like this is what basketball is all about. This is what New York City is about. And I don’t know, man. I’m just going to remember this night so much, man. Like I can’t wait to look back on it after the Knicks win the championship. But I’m out, guys. Peace.
