Dude Collin sucked tonight im sorry. Tre had a bad ot and took stupid shots but hes a better defender and played way better offensively tonight!
Neither of them have played well
You missed the part where Sexton was bad all night. Was so bad and standing around so much that Lee ran down the sideline pissed looking for a sub before sitting with the rest of coaches leaving the assistant to sub out Sexton.
I’d rather have Colin on a bad night than Tre on a good one. Colin had almost twice as many points with half the minutes as Tre.
Tre scores on bad shots and it only reenforces his shot selection
I’m not trying to say Collin was good tonight. He really wasn’t. But at some point, you can’t just keep rewarding a guy who’s thrown multiple games in the clutch this season (and has been worse all year long, really). Neither of them were playing well; I’d rather just pick the better player here.
Tonight came across as a coin-flip type of night. Tre seemed like the hotter hand after the first half, so they went with him more.
Mann needs to be on a shorter leash though imo. When he’s not playing well, he needs to be yanked immediately.
Sexton isn’t super flashy, but he’s always gamey and super consistent. Tre’s gotta a lot to prove but he needs to settle down out there and stop focusing on his shot quota
We really need Brandon back
While the focus is on the lineup choices in OT, there was a stretch late in the game where Giannis was still on the bench and Lee trotted out a lineup that made zero sense and for no reason. LaMelo Sexton Mann Pat and Plumlee. That was the chance to build another lead but instead we went down by 5-6 wasting precious limited LaMelo mins on that abomination of a lineup.
