As frustrating as the Eagles offense can be, at least we are good at the most basic possible thing of getting one yard.
It is a large part of the “how do we keep winning these games when we are outgained?” explanation.

Probably the best defense in the league. That’s the issue I’m having with all this, if the defense wasn’t so damn good and keeping us in the win column, patullo might’ve been gone already. We should arguably be better than we were last year.

This is why howie is going to have to find a way to keep JD and JC happily paid while finding bargains for the other dl positions. Also helps to have decent LBs finally and some solid tacklers at S.

Why don’t the other teams just tush push it? What are they stupid?
I don’t remember the plays 100% but I believe none of these were qb sneaks. I’m not trying to down play the defense but it’s wild to me that teams don’t qb sneak on 4th and 1. The dline has almost no time to penetrate so the conversion rate has to be above 50%.
We just need to play complimentary football. Defense gives a big stop. Go out and score. Have a great drive. Come up with a three and out on defense. We will figure it out. Just need our run game to be able to spread out and worry the opposing defense. Our run game was so important to last years run.
