Defending Harden… going at DJJ and Batum and finishing late in games.
Guys this ain’t hard to figure out. Give the ball to the 6’9 kid, put as many shooters around him and let him go to work.
Truth is for his usage to really get to a good level we’ll need to trade the vets. This is very typical. We had to do this with Luka as well.
As an organization you’re 3-10. It’s over. It’s now your sole responsibility to develop Cooper Flagg.
Waive the white flag, trade the vets and at least give the fans something exciting to watch every game: Flagg getting 18-20 shots.

Shout out to PandaHank41 for creating Cooper highlights, that’s the only thing I’ve been watching this season
13 FG attempts in 47 minutes is disgraceful. And it’s not even like he shot poorly he went 8/13 and hit his last 6 shots.
I know he has taken some clutch shots and missed them. Even going back to the tourney game with Duke, but I love that he isn’t passive in these situations. He was huge down the stretch last night, but obviously has work to do as a teenager with less than 15 games under his belt. I think he tends to get good shots in those situations.
The team didn’t help him out at all down the stretch. I thought he got Marshall a good look at 3 when he drew a double team and for some reason Marshall didn’t shoot on the catch, then had to force a bad shot. D-Lo was D-Lo. He looked unstoppable then just completely forgot how to play basketball and dribbled too long, force bad shots and didn’t pass. Coop was bullying his defenders and getting deep paint touches off the dribble and was scoring with ease
Dudes going to be good. People forget Luka’s rookie season was rocky also (except he was still doing Luka killer shit like that 3 to tie against Portland)
Coop gonna be so fun to watch for years
Monster on defense too.
I was losing my mind last night in the fourth and OT, he should have gotten way more looks. Still a great game from him. Starting to see him get to his spots a lot easier.
Atp I’m more anxious for the trade deadline just to see how the rebuild is gonna start.
I don’t think it’s as simple as give the ball to the kid and let him work. He excels way way more as a secondary playmaker. Which is arguably just as valuable as a primary playmaker if you put the right guys around him. Think of Duncan in San Antonio once they identified Manu and Parker. Suddenly you had this great dual threat out of the high post who could turn those two into off ball scorers.
He’s smaller, but I see a lot of Duncan in Coop’s game. It’s very much in the flow don’t force it approach to the game. Which means he needs initiators to get him into scoring mode.
I love his mid range game more than anything else. With his size he should always be able to score at that level.
Coopers best defender is dlo
