NHL Highlights | Kings vs. Senators – November 15, 2025
of the night. It won’t be his last stop in Toronto. He’ll end up in the Hall of Fame at some point. 1,468 games in the books. We are officially underway between the Senators and the Kings. Delighted to have you all with us tonight. Now playing a road game at home. Full circle. And now he’s truly got the best seat in the house. Thanks Carolyn. Here’s a quick shot from Fogal and it’s handled by Drew Dowy up the wall to Alex Leferier who finds Bfield. Quick pass to Fiala Zoo all over him. The King still with control. Lefer shot. Ricochet to the wall and now it’s by field. Back to Mike and tipped on that and they score. Lefier right in front and the Kings draw first blood here in Ottawa. Well, this has been such a a tight checking affair. You see Ze comes out of position to try and surf and take that hit in neutral ice, but the Ottawa Senators still have numbers. As Bifffield gets it, he’ll work it low to high. And Leferier is left uncovered in front of the net. Does a great job getting the stick on it, deflecting it between his legs. And because of the deflection, Mark has no chance whatsoever. And the Kings take a one- nothing lead on the beautiful deflection by Alex Lefar. That’s a span of over 260 minutes if you include some of the time in tonight’s matchup. So they have been playing with the leader tied for most of recent history here. Amadium he moves up by field gathers it. The all byfield unable to get the puck out. Here’s Jeru. A shot denied by Forsber in neutralized weights and the pass too much for Kopitar but he did manage to get to it. And now it’s FIA looking to split the D. Now he goes around powering his way to the net and Lena Hallark. It’s Clark having a look. Skating with the puck and he drops it back. Keep looks, shoots. Allark steers that one up into the net. He felt he was tripped by Cory Perry. The play continued. Here’s Dylan Cousins over the blue line. Handing it off Jensen shot. Forsberford may have gotten a piece to keep that out. Matt Powell pokes it forward. Dylan Cousins still with it. Amario now off the bench. Michael Amario playing his former team. Amario shooting. He’s like the big brother that just drives you nuts and he never goes away. Here’s Spence driving to the night net, but Forsber read that all the way and he keeps it out. He’s doing his thing here now in an LA Kings uniform. Got to be a little weird though after all those seasons in an Anaheim Ducks uniform as well. Hey Sam. Oh yeah. But you know, clearly like Southern California and he’s still up to his old tricks. I’ve been watching this guy since he was 16 years old in London. 11 points in 12 games to start off this campaign and accepting the pass. One-time blast from Dowy and he missed the net. He got it over to Jeru. Centering pass blocked by Dowy. Spence moves it up. Forwarded and now a chance for Amio from the slot. Daru at the doorstep and for keeps it out. Scored two straight games with that similar type deflection. That’s the one he scored in the first. Beautiful between the legs beating Omar. Jaru centering pass bouncing puck. Sanderson looks shoots and Forsber that puck sticks to him. November six start against Boston. And here Giru does a good job on the for check. Gets it to the net front. Moves it to the middle. Cousins unable to move it as Kopitar took over over the blue line and he had some trouble with it. Now Kempe keeps it alive. Chris shot glove down by Alark averaging 2308 time on ice this season. Here’s another blast and that’s a blocker stop. He skates away with it. Lost it though and now Po Jaru on the attack. Jeru from the slot and a good stop from Forsber. He punched it away. Under three to go in the second. Spence has passed too far [Applause] as Alark has to come far out of his net. Looked like Amario was gassed there as he’s going to head to the bench now. Forsber out to play it. Fogle takes it. Clark from him. Can’t get the pass. Puck stolen. A shot from Veron and Forsber had to fix his mask after that one. Kept it out though and he recovered and now Lars Eller has it. Back to Ardam Zoo. Back to Eller. Crossing the blue line. Lars Eller with a minute to go now in the second period. Back to Jensen. He hammers it and Zerland who had fallen in the lane. Now he’s got a chance and he’s denied by Forsber who covers up quickly. Playing and they certainly have found it now. starting to find their rhythm. They’ve put that on display so far here tonight. But as Carolyn mentioned, just a onegoal game and a full period here for the Ottawa Senators to get on the board as Forsber stops the puck behind the net playing it along the glass. Spence keeps the play alive. Pinto with it. Shane Pinto on the prowl directing the puck towards Amadio. Michael Amati finds Spence. He tease one up. Horsesburg the save. Big rebound though. This is a Kings team known for its defensive prowess. Used to play that 131 under Todd McCoy. He’s now in Detroit. Here’s Dumalin looking for the puck. Trevor Moore chips it forward. Jensen and Matt Powell looking to get their team back on the attack. Cody Cece skating to the puck. Moves it back up and it’s Warren Fogle spinning firing. Dumb to traffic. Omar standing his ground. And now the face off to the left of Eller and Kopitar. Kopitar wins the draw. Army makes a move. Finds some space and he finds Kopitar. A shot on that. Mark the save. rebound and now he forwards it. Drake Berson over to Pon. David Pon protecting that puck. Centering pass out in front. Bath was there, but the Kings come up with the puck. Tried to win a stick battle and then Pon is able to get this thing to the net front. Bath is there, but Mikey Anderson’s just Clemens moves the puck to the far side. Peron gets there, plays the body. Puck cuts in. A blast from Cece and a pad stopped from Omar. Joel Ar blocked. Sometimes you get the the benefits of a player being out and no one wants to see Brady Kachchuck out for an extended period of time, but he’s pulled away and put on the line with Babson. It’s worked brilliantly. Pinto shot saved by Forsber. Spence moves it over and Paulo as Forsberg finds it the reach with the left arm as it’s in his glove. Forsber played quite well. Forsber has looked solid here in his return to Ottawa. Stop there hugging the post. Aerson moves with a good opportunity. He ripped it wide. One of those types of games where special teams can really make a difference. It’s a shot and a good stop again from home. Kopitar Perry. So after they win the draw, Kopitar gets a chance. Moore looking for Deno. Fogle to Leferier. One-time up to the task as he stops Trevor Moore. Point shot. Couldn’t get it to go. And then Leferier with a beautiful pass across the ice. Alongo did a great job tying up the stick and Cousins in front of the net. He comes back to help out defensively and takes away a great opportunity. And here’s a chance for Ridley Grant. Stopped by Forsber. Proving to his old team that he can still get it done. A good job moving this thing up ice. It goes off Dumlan skate and Greg telegraphs it by turning to the backhand and just staying with the backhand right there and could not beat Forsber allowing him to focus in on the backhanded shot by Ridley Greg. Solid read it like a book off the draw. Stutzla takes it moving to the slot. Stutza shooting and Forsber steering that away. He gets it to Biffield. A chip and chase. Zoo moves it back. Armia to the slot. Biffield. Shoots off the glove of all. He fought it off. Did a good job coming back there in this run. The fans here wanted a call. Mo stopped by works it to dumped in. All missed it behind the net. Harvey a quick shot. We’ll keep an eye on Lena Salma. Low Jaru stick handling past Copitar. Jeru sharp angle Forsber hug in the post. He made the save and Jake Anderson a superb effort to keep the puck in. Here’s some passing from the sinners. The shot for pushed it away. Ottawa coming close. Hallmark on the bench. Extra attacker on the ice. Spence shoots. Blocked partially by Edmonson to now they do. Drew wins it. Here’s Jake Sanders. Shot. He missed the net. Joel Aria lifts it out of the zone and it won’t be icing. Under 5 seconds to go. Last opportunity here for Ottawa. But that’s going to do it here. A one to nothing final score as the LA Kings [Music]
Alex Laferriere picked up his fifth goal of the season for the lone goal in the game, with Anton Forsberg picking up a 17-save shutout to lead the Los Angeles Kings to a 1-0 win over the Ottawa Senators.

idk how many chances the Sens missed from the slot but it was a lot brutal night of shooting for them
Very tight defensive game. Anton Forsberg was very cool and collected in goal. GKG!!!

Two teams with that play a very similar style with the exact same record . Barely any shots and just great defence. It’s like we nullify each other lol
Senators great at missing shots on goal
Also great at shooting puck right at goalie
Those flames jerseys are horrible…oh wait, those are the sens???
Nice one for the Kings. Forsberg was a wall.
