Im really liking how the raptors look. But we did just play two teams with 1-10 and 1-11 records respectively.
The raptors are developing at a better clip then I expected. The leafs are falling short of expectations so it hurts more i guess. Or its frustrating af if you’ve been a long time fan.
It’s crazy that first place is only a win streak away, however I don’t believe that this team has the ability to win anything.
The last five-game losing streak was in 2021. It mattered more because that season was shorter. We still won the division. We are four points behind the Habs. We are still in this. I loved tonight’s effort, and Woll is still good.

I’ve been a leafs fan my whole life and I’ve seen bandwagon fans come and go.
So, not really a loss from my perspective.

After losing to the Panthers in the playoffs and Matthews games out and said “I guess they wanted it more than we did”, they should have immediately taken the “C” away from him.

We fix whatever the hell is wrong with the defensive game, suddenly we’re in good shape. SOG obviously isn’t there consistently but as far as GF goes we’re doing well compared to the west of the division
Kids, we’re two points ahead of the Sabres. That being said, best game of the past five was tonight.

Call me crazy but I feel like this is what the Leafs need. The organization needs a wake up call (I know how cliche this sounds).
The Jays and Raptors are way more likeable right now and exciting to watch. The Leafs have nothing going for them so far this season (not to mention last year’s let down and the Marner departure that has carried over).
On a Saturday night I had the Raps playing and was checking the score periodically. I turned in for the last 5 min and really felt nothing after they lost.
Division is tight. It’s early. Only 2 wins out of it. Once every body gets back it will be better. They looked good tonight.
