I woke up and snorted a massive spoonful of copium this morning but I don’t care

  1. What’s gonna happen is we are gonna stay frisky enough to be playing relevant ball the week of Christmas… And THEN we will have our season all but ended in Week 17.

    It’s the Falcons way.

  2. Ironically enough the regime part of the McVay actually had that skid 3-6 IIRC before going to win the Super Bowl with LAC.

  3. True, but they need to get back to one game at a time, one play at a time, and how to get the offense going again.

  4. This is going to make is so much more infuriating when we come out this stretch 1-2 with only beating the panthers lol. What was Quinn’s line, “Embrace the suck!” Yea, let’s just bring that back

  5. Of course it could happen. We haven’t lost to the Panthers 30-0 and the Dolphins 34-10, have we? We’re totally a good, competent team that will make it to the playoffs. Or of course, we could heed these words: “It’s okay, Jack, you can let go now”

  6. Even if it does, do you honestly think the remainder of the season will follow in the same way? 6-6, with wins against bad teams, is honestly not the goal for teams that simply smile and laugh at Atlanta. Trust me, I’ve been a fan for 50+ years… I’ve seen this story before, read it cover to cover, many times, and I know how this ends… Go ahead and book your January vacation plans, you won’t be missing any big games.

  7. I actually see that happening and us losing at the end anyways in a rivalry game with the Aints.

  8. I mean, you can wake up and say I’m just gonna be a pessimist about this team and be like I told you so whenever they fuck up or you can wake up and say I’m gonna root for my team because this is a team that I’ve chosen, and I can be excited about the fact that they still mathematically have a chance.

Why some of you choose the former over the latter I have no idea. Like is your life going so perfectly that you need to have something stressful like being a fan of a team you don’t seem to really like to balance it out?

Honestly I’m waiting to see it. Know the Falcons this exact scenario will happen and then in the last game of the year with a need to win and up by 2 scores they’ll lose. And it’ll probably be by a missed field goal just to highlight the fact that this coaching staff could read the tea leaves that Koo was done or at the least needed really competition in preseason.

    RISE UP

  10. I’ll take you one further with the optimism: Raheem is a mastermind and has the team right where he wants them. He wants them peaking going into the playoffs. Early losses mean they stay hungry and motivated. Zac is also about to put the REAL offensive game plan on the field and start walking the league.

Back to back Superbowl wins start NOW

  11. I just don’t think Penix has enough reliable WR options, enough proper mechanics, enough rollout play extending strength, enough pressure success… but I would love to see it and still believe in magic i guess. Or divine intervention lmao
