NHL Highlights | Maple Leafs vs. Blackhawks – November 15, 2025

at 9:23. It’s always great to be in Chicago, isn’t it, Craig? It sure is. Even yet have to wait. A little bit of unsettling for the both these teams just getting out here trying to get the energy right back. Classic in his own zone across to Krebier who’s 6’8. It’s a big blue line for the young Chicago Blackhawks. Here’s Nazar and a backhand. Going to be a quick change here and Chicago gets a chance to work it ahead. That pump further and here’s Nick Fledo the former leaf into the glove of Wool back to Kaiser. One timer that goes weak and wide of the net along the boards. He’ll feed back to the line sending it on goal. Jeff Flash has gone 11 and seven in all the other games. So a little bit healthy now got 12. There’s McKay from distance and W able to steer that back into the corner. McKe with it turning away from Ryan Donado now spinning it for John Tvaris out to 505 goals. Nick Robertson will play it in on Spencer Knight. Goes after his own rebound. Leaf stuck in their own zone here. Ryan Green sends it around. It’ll bounce to Felo trying to get a shooting angle and another stop. A rebound loose in front. Doby trying to clear it and still Leafs can’t get it out. It’ll come back to left. He has trouble maintaining his balance. Over a minute in the zone and a chance scores. It is Ryan Green [Music] [Applause] where the line got trapped. Look at the white sweaters all standing still. You’re in a position, but nobody’s taking away an option. Even had a time to fall down and get back up. And now you’ve got dead, tired bodies. Goes right past Machelli. And for Joseph Wall, the worst thing you want to have is a crossing pass to a dangerous man on his off wing. And that’s exactly what Larson pitches in shoulderto-shoulder with Conor Murphy. Comes to Couch off the goal post. Matthew Ny on a nice feed from Cowan. [Music] Yeah, you can just see that the last second there. It did didn’t get all of it. They tried to put it back to the left side. The rebound for Machelli in behind the net it goes. McMahon trying to work away from Carter Murphy. Out in front. Machelli. McMahon. And Knight with another tough stop on Bobby McMahon. Create a turnover and McMahon finds this putt right on his stick. Quick little turn around. Knight was making sure there was nothing there. Look at the position. He started to move his right pad up but then closed it down. Hermas dumps it down into Chicago territory. Sent back out by Knight and down to the final minute of this opening period. Previer gave it away. Robertson there. Here’s Robertson. Cavar sweeping it in front. Loose P. Scores. Leaps tie it. William Knander catching or is it Robertson and rotating down. It’s a one against three. Tavvaris gets in, gets a little bit of a body. Good support there by Robertson. Throws it and John Tavaris just taking it hard to the net. And you could see positionally able to win the battle. Krebier can’t get his big body in on Nick Robertson. He’s got what about 9 in on him as the two Well, the Maple Leafs had 14 first period shots, most in an opening period this year. It’s dropped back to the line and back onto the stick of Lepinov. Fastest young defenseman to get to Tennessee in Hawk history. And Wall’s going to club that. That one cut off intended for Joshua right in front of the net. Back comes Bernard the other way. It opens up here and a chance can’t get it in. Adam Bard again the little spin around forehand onto the tape and there’s a beauty of a save by that’s off a skate as N broke up a passier will send it in past seven minutes of the game starting to heat up here’s Donado and that one off the bar and then in tight Donado runs off her wall off the post to Cowan and he flipped it high what a chance for Cowan and he takes it away and keeps it in looking for nine eyes and working. Riley off the post. Riley rings it up now. Little bit underneath it. Riley jumping up and getting this good chance earlier down low. Tamaris back to Knander. Here’s Knander circling centering it and Robertson missed the net after it was healed by Tavaris. What a chance for Robertson. Knander again. Clock ticking on this shift against the Chicago Defenders as that gets by Tvaris. Kept alive by Knander. Nice play. Equin Larson in front. Morgan Riley scores and the Leafs take the lead as they have in the Hawks for an extended time. And then at the end of it all, the Red Sweaters are just absolutely gassed. Look at Kaiser in front, his defense partner. They can barely skate and right on the doorstep off the stick, Morgan Riley. A minute 19 in the offensive zone ends up with the puck in the back of the net for number 44. Chicago is challenging for a missame stoppage on a high stick. Oh boy. Right in that wheelhouse. And remember, it has to be definitive. That angle looks worse than the other ones we saw. After reviewing the play, the call on the ice is confirmed. We have no high stick. There we go. We have a goal. Partially broken up by McMahon. Nazar tries it again. Jumps the stick of Donado. 31 goal score last year. Then Eric pass onto the stick of Gowen. It alone Gowen and off the outside of the post from a standstill out of the box. Does a good job of creating a little bit of separation and then just loses it on the outside. He made the play that he wanted. One thing about Spencer Knight is he does a good job of not biting. He did bite. went down attention to the details that Kyle was talking about. You know, there is a reason why there’s the saying there’s winning and there’s misery and and no one feels that more than the head coach. Winds in, flips it to Nick. Far side it goes. Penalty about to come to an end. They’ll have to be wary. A puck in the blue paint and chopped away before Robertson can reach it. Back is Ryan Green who is Chicago’s only goal tonight. It’s loose in front and a stop by Knight and the rebound knocked wide. Great scoring chance there for Cali Yarn has an ability to get on it and then out of the corner. Good little stick there by Lorent. There’s a big save as Yarncro they let him play and we’re five minutes into the third. Previer around. There’s Terrain up for Nazar. Aar trying to get around Bill Myers. Great pass. Terra find scores [Music] [Applause] play. Just nothing really happening here. Meyers loses the body position so the puck gets brought to the middle. And man, what a play around Morgan Riley. Terri and good effort by Nazar making the Nola look backhand pass and watch this movement a curling drag quick reset and then forehand off the post and Benois up with that Mav forces a turnover Conor Bernard and can’t finish there a centering pass for Mavs and then here Bard was ready to go back instead the puck’s right there he outweights curls around and right off the the fans into it here in the Third approaching seven minutes. Grizzloop lost it. Here’s nines in front. Cowan stopped by Knight and Chicago with the puck as Nazar flips it ahead. Tried to get Mo to skate onto it and Will with the stop. The flip pass and how hard it is for a defenseman. McCabe went to turn knew it was going by him. Now he’s not going to win that foot race. That poor McMahon. Maybe a twoon-one, but Kaiser closed quickly and really tied up McMahon with Nick Wah the McCain and a left hand stop by Spencer Knight. Jake McCabe go ahead goal on his stick but Spencer Knight with one of his. Just over four and a half minutes left here in the third. Colton Dock checked by Tavaris. It’s Previer scores. in front of D. Chicago’s got the lead. An absolute bomb from the point. It’s just a puck battle in the corner that the Leafs can’t win. A hard shot with the high deflection. Not really a chance there for Joseph Wall. Look at this eye coming. The second man in front on the deflection right through McKe. And Wall watches it go past him. And the clock running out on the Maple Leafs who had a lead through two, but Chicago with two in the third and they win it three to two. [Music]

Ryan Greene, Teuvo Teravainen, and Colton Dach each scored while Spencer Knight finished with 31 saves to elevate the Chicago Blackhawks to a 3-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

  1. 1st goal was like TO was playing shinny a man short. Second CHI goal was very pretty, not too long after that Bedard blew it, he had time and didn't use it. TO is in deep trouble at this point of the season. See how things come along for CHI, they are improving.

  2. Another Lost For The Maple Leafs After They Lost In Overtime Against The Los Angeles Kings Last Game!!!! Leafs Didn’t Play Well!!!! They Should Be Better!!!! Good Win For Chicago And Good Game Blackhawk Fans!!!!🐻‍❄️🍁🤝🏒🦅✌️

  3. WOW leafs s*cked with marner and stupidly worse without him now is insane.

As a TML fan, one of the most inconsistent and embarrassing team for more than two decades or more now

  4. What a bunch of clowns. Always skating away from the puck. Losers like riely and mccabe that are scared to play defense like real men. No longer a leaf fan but love watching them crumble like the old days. They are back for another decade of scamming fans for their money. While you are working hard for your money, just remember, these idiots don't and get far more than you. If no one buys their crap prices will drop to almost reasonable costs.

  5. Toronto used to be a strong, contending regular season team. They look much less interested this season. I think some players have worn out their welcome. Maybe time for some changes.
