Vegas Golden Knights at Minnesota Wild | FULL Overtime Highlights – November 16, 2025
[Applause] Vegas starts with a puck. Theodore controls. [Applause] Vegas hasn’t had much luck in overtime this year either. In games decided threeon three. They’ve lost four out of five. Mner watched by Capri with Mner. Vegas has some options. They go Marner first for the draw. Then Eel hoping that maybe he gets that second matchup away from Erikson. Here is Eel. Barbashev drives toward the middle. Ekeel leaves it for Hannneathan. Forced to the outside by Ericson. And Vegas will circle back at center ice once more. Now Barbashev tried to leave it for Hannneathan. Capriov to the bench for a change. Baldi takes his spot. Baldi Ericson XP Spurgeon for Minnesota. Eel carries down low. Back out to center for Hannneathan. Hannneathan now attacks for Vegas. Ekeel defended by Baldy. Circles up high in the zone. Ekeel now moves back toward the net again. He’s cut off by Baldi and Vegas will regroup once more. There’s just no angles for him to attack and Vegas keeps running into each other on these entries while doing a good job just bottling them up, but they need to get a turnover. Erikson had created a loose puck, but he couldn’t come up with it. He and Spurgeon have been on the ice the entire overtime so far. We’re approaching two minutes in. Theodore working against Spurgeon. Spurgeon rides him off the puck on a strong play. Baldi controls. Yeah, Theodore got caught with a little indecision there. He wanted to drive the net strong and try to cut in front of Gustin, but on his forehand elected not to at the last second. That’s right when Spurgeon bumps him, throws it off balance and separates him from the puck. Now the Wild with fresh legs have the puck for the first time. And Baldi with it. Baldi. Johansson. Faber on the ice for Minnesota. Johansson wanted to go to the trailing Faber. Now tried to force it. It’s taken away by Martner with Johansson hustling back defensively. Mner on the breakaway. Mner dropped it back. Intercepted by Faber. Up with a back check from Matt Bull. He just saves the goal. Mner unbelievable setup here but on a breakaway. Feeling the pressure from behind. Elects not to take a shot. He’ll second guess that one because of the back check from Baldi. Wild with possession again. Faber, Capriov, Zukarelloo. Now the trio for the Wild. Capriov leaves it for Faber. He plays it off the boards awkwardly for Capriov. Luckily, Zukarelloo is there to claim it. Zukarelloo moves in to Capriov. Couldn’t get a shot away. Back to Zukarelloo. Now to Favor up high. favor for Zukarella and the Wild will regroup at center ice. It was starting to open up there and guys are moving. What a tough play as Faber threw it back to Gustoson. He’d have had to leave the trapezoid to play it. Capriov moves ahead for Minnesota to the Wilder changing behind the play. Capriov to Zukarelloo just off of his stick. Zukarelloo back to Capriov. Capriov loses Barbashev. circles the net on the back end. Broaddin now on the ice for Minnesota. Broaddin moves toward the net. Zukarelloo up high. Leaves for Capri off. Zukarelloo escapes cycle. Fires right on and a save by Limbbo with a minute one left in the overtime. Let’s have another look at this. It’s a takeaway from Mar on Johansson. Then the races. Boy, how about the speed from Mario because Johansson was flying. He sees it, feels the pressure, bring it to the back end, puts it on a TE, but Matt Baldy second effort. Buries the head, gets up the ice and lifts the stick. Oh, perfect timing, perfect play from Baldi. One minute remaining. One minute on the ice in overtime for Minnesota. Holy controls, leaves it for Ericson. Ericson moves in, works around Hurdle, drives to the net, and a save by Linda. And the Wild with a couple of more aggressive moves to the net here in the final minute or so of overtime. Yeah, there it was. And Erikson X attempt was a little bit more successful again because he’s on the backhand. He’s got some leverage. Drive it in. Chip on the forehand. When you think about the turnover that Theodore had on the Spurgeon play, the difference between a backhand drive and a forehand drive there at the net. Goal mouth. Baldi with it. How has a broken stick, but the Wild can’t take advantage. He gets a new one. Gets back in the play. Now we have a penalty coming and Minnesota will get an abbreviated power play. 28.8 seconds left in the extra session. and the Wild to the power play. Vegas number 27. 2 minutes for hooking. Oh, Cassidy giving him the clap. Tells me that’s not genuine. But we’ve said it a handful of times, Anthony. It’s been consistent. We’ll watch this play. Zoro with the bump and then the stick gets caught in the hands. It’s one hand on the stick. It’s a play and it’s the play that goes uncalled frequently, but tonight they’ve all been called. They have. And you put yourself in a spot to allow the official to make the call as soon as you put the stick up in their hands. And Vegas can’t complain that much cuz it was Jared Spurgeon that had a very similar tickytacky kind of call. And Vegas scores on that power play. Now while they’re going to get their chance 28.8 to get redemption fourth. So the Wild have taken their timeout and they’re setting the play up. It’s It’s not the five on three, four on three. So I don’t think they’re going to do the behind the net. Try to get Cute down there. They could cuz there could be a one-time up top. pushing 431 over but we’ll see how Vegas elects to choose it or I should say kill it four forwards for Minnesota they go with the all lefty Capri Zukarelloo Erikson Ecaldi we did see Z Buham in overtime for the first time yeah here earlier but they’ll go four forwards here especially with only a half a minute left [Music] Erikson to draw the draw is important. Erikson wins it. Baldi has it to Zukarelloo across for Capriov. His shot was blocked. Now back to Baldi. Capriov and Baldi play catch. Zukarelloo back to Baldi. A shot. Ericson X tip went wide. Zukarelloo on it to Baldi. Back to Zukarelloo. Across Caprio. He scores. Peru wins it for the world. [Applause] Boy, you need and Capri off delivers. I mean, it’s just a seeing eye shot through the five hole of limb, but there was urgency on this power play and the Wilds were looking for shots. They set it up, they get it. Boy, that’s not an easy one timer for Capri off either from that angle. It’s off the front foot, but he’s able to get it off the heel of the stick towards the net and Lindbomb just doesn’t push clean. He doesn’t get over it. He’s off balance and Kilter just enough room in the five hole. Capri off finds it in the Wild with 9.7 seconds left in overtime. What a finish. [Music]

Kaprizov is a machine
First
This is the stretch of the season where the Wild get their fans' hopes up. Watch them be #1 around New Years and then crater shortly thereafter.
For all the VGK fans crying about the OT penalty call on Theodore. Remember, they wouldn't have even tied it up if it weren't for the even weaker "holding" call on Spurgeon. Fairly won by the Wild.
Судью на "Мыло"😐😐😐
As a wild fan, what a horrible call.
Кирил красавчик!
Excellent job ❤🎉
I would say we'll square this away in the playoffs; HOWEVER, Minnesota is not making into the playoffs. This is the reason I boo officials every game. Trash clowns.
This is terrible hockey!
They give Kaprizov that shot and they are going to pay every time.
